Alum: The Danville HS is a wonderful learning environment suited perfectly for students planning to attend college/ further education or get a job after graduation. The array of classes in all departments are taught by a passionate and knowledgeable facility. Tools for the future, such as technical skills and resume writing are integrated into the core curriculum. Academic and Art related departments are diverse enough to shape everyone into a different person, not just a duplicate of each other. The Administrative team is composed of individuals who truly care about each students' success and not the school reputation...Read 97 Reviews

Senior: This is truly an amazing school. I value the relationship between my teachers and me. It is obvious they love what they do and want every student to succeed. Also, I know Academy has prepared me for college - the work load, albeit difficult, is manageable. Additionally, the sports facilites are incredible; I do not know many schools that have their own pool attached. That being said, I would like to see more attention given to the fine arts department. There are so many hidden artists in my grade that I did not know about until taking Studio Art. Finally, recognizing the minorities in the community, Norfolk Academy has taken steps to make their campus more inclusive this year. Overall, I have loved my high school experience at NA and highly recommend this school to students striving to make the most of their education...Read 143 Reviews

Parent: I can’t say enough good things about this school. The administration and teachers at both the main school and the Learning Center are excellent! They care about each and every one of the students and are very knowledgeable and qualified for what they do/teach. Be a part of a small school is like having a big family. Sure there are drawbacks not having more clubs, sports, extra curricular activists. However, for any of those programs that are offered, the coaches, teachers, and parents give 100% making them top notch. The kids not only learn so much through these programs, they also form special bonds with their peers. I have had 3 children attend this school, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of education they are receiving. I feel they are well taken care of, watched over and kept safe. Also, the kids who graduate from here have proven to be very successful in all aspects of life...Read 23 Reviews

Senior: The staff actually cares about you and is willing to sit down and have a conversation with you. The curriculum that is being taught is also very interesting and challenging, when compared to a public school system's learning. The only thing that I would change is how the discipline is done. I had a miserable start to high school due to some bullying, and nothing was done about it. However, I am strong-willed and got past it. Overall, MCS is a great school...Read 42 Reviews

Junior: I am a current student at Linden hall and I can say that this school teaches you values that all of us should have. You are safe in your surroundings and can explore different parts of yourself! This is my third year attending this school and each day I get to learn new traditions. There are so many different cultures, and this school is filled with so many different beliefs and values. You never know what you may see next! Studying can be hard, but you have the support of teachers who value your understanding of the class material...Read 80 Reviews

Parent: We LOVE St. Peter's. Our children started in kindergarten and are now in the Upper School. The curriculum is challenging but engaging, the faculty is engaged and so positive, the administration is responsive and not only willing to have conversations about any problems with the school, but proactive in finding solutions. The families are now really so many of our best friends and our kids are being prepared for an ever changing world. It's definitely a small school, but we feel that gives our kids such confidence as they get in the upper grades - they are the big kids, looked up to by the younger ones, sort of avoiding all the unnecessary pressures of a typical "middle school" at a time when they are so vulnerable emotionally. If we could go back in time we would send them here all over again!...Read 8 Reviews
