Parent: The Hill School is aptly named the family boarding school for good reason. From our first tour, it was clear to us that Hill is more than just a top-notch education. We have two daughters at Hill and could not be more pleased with the faculty, education, after-school activities and warm environment. Hill has been a leader in handling the COVID protocol at boarding schools since the beginning of the pandemic. We highly recommend touring Hill if your child is interested in boarding school...Read 119 Reviews

Parent: The choice of how & where to school children is one of the major decisions parents must make for their children. As parents of four children, this was a growing concern as our first child was reaching school age. While there were many options available that we explored, we are continually confident that Coventry Christian Schools was the best option for our family. With children now in the secondary and elementary levels, we remain grateful for this school community. Our top three reasons are: strong educational value(classical school model), family friendly community, and a safe environment on multiple levels. Such a blessing to have this major decision secure, having CCS as an wonderful aid in our primary role to parent our children. Lastly, each of children love going to this school! :)...Read 26 Reviews

Parent: My kids have been attending Basis since before the pandemic, and we are so impressed! Rich academic curriculum, good inclusion of the arts, excellent opportunity for differentiation based on student needs. The teachers are dedicated and so are the parents to the kids' success. While the administration has been bumpy as the school has gotten established (only 5 years old), they earned their stripes during the pandemic. Organized, safety-focused and diligent about communication. We supplement school with sports leagues and scouting outside of school, which many parents do. Easy to do given the extensive choice you have in the DC area. Also appreciate the international study body with impressively bright students from all over the world. A real meritocracy, unlike other private schools that admit based on VIP status or connections/donations. In the next few years, this school will only continue to advance its place in the rankings...Read 43 Reviews

Senior: OJR has been a very good school for me. I have benefited from the sports programs and have enjoyed being a part of multiple successful teams and will be participating in sports in college. On the academic side, I have always felt that the teachers and coaches have our best interest in mind and help us when they can. As a student who needed special help due to a learning disability, the school helped me overcome my disability by constantly working with me to improve. During this process they never made me feel bad or embarrassed about being on a IEP and needing help with reading and writing. With their help, I am graduating with close to a 4.0 and have excelled in ELA and all subjects where heavy reading and writing are needed. I feel that with the help they provided I am prepared for college where I will be studying Biology/pre-med. The facilities are pretty good but we have a very small gym for the size of our school. The classrooms are up date and have the latest technolgy...Read 364 Reviews

It's not the prettiest and it has its flaws, but between the students, teachers, faculty, and administration, you will always feel like you are home. Alum: High Point is an amazing school that definitely prepped me for college. The classes are challenging yet manageable, and it's clear that the teachers care for their students. Each class is very small, about 25 students, which creates the feel of a tight-knit community. There are many resources available for students, and you can always approach any faculty member to ask for help, academic or otherwise, and they will be more than happy to guide you. I loved attending this school!...Read 35 Reviews

Parent: We love CCS! It is definitely a place where your student can grow and learn. Class sizes are small and teachers are devoted to their student's success. They are always available to students and very responsive to emails and requests for help. Grace is extended and students learn to navigate life with the support of Godly leaders, modeling Christlike character, supporting them in their individual journeys. For a small school, they offer a variety of electives and have a full sports program that our student has thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend CCS!...Read 25 Reviews

Parent: Pine Forge Academy is a great school. I would encourage everyone who knows the value of an Adventist Christian Education to have their child or children enrolled there. The teachers are warm, kind, and very attentive to the population being served. One of the main things I admire as a mother, whenever I reached out to Leadership with a concern they always return phone calls or emails promptly.I have seen my son matured so much enrolling as a Freshman at PFA, now in his Junior Year. Highly Recommend. Teamwork - Prayers and Dedication for the population being served. Great Place to learnRead 58 Reviews

Parent: Transferring to Montgomery was the best decision we made. After a very short time our child has become much more independent and confident. She loves school! In previous years she never enjoyed science. Now, science is her favorite subject! (the science teacher by the way is incredible!) All teachers are at Monty. Each teacher is unique and fully invested. ...Entering as the “ new kid” mid year did not phase her one bit. The admissions team, faculty, students and family laid out the red carpet for our daughter. The children are kind, polite and inclusive. Montgomery is more than a school, it is a family. Our only regret is that we didn’t enroll years ago. Thrilled we found this gem of a school! Highly- highly recommend...Read 22 Reviews

Parent: We feel making the choice to send our children to PJP2 was the best decision we could have made! Our children look forward to going to school and we feel that is due to the exemplary teaching and community feel of the school. Their teachers are amazing, caring, really love and support the children, organized and professional. Their teachers really take the time to get to know every one of the children. The school gives you a sense of family and belonging to a community. We feel strongly our children are getting the best education and in our opinion they are further ahead by going to PJP2. Their curriculum is challenging, well balanced and has a variety of programs making it in our opinion one of the many reasons why we feel our children are getting the best education! Parent: My children have been going to Windsor for 9 years, ever since my oldest was in kindergarten. We love that Jesus is woven through every subject and the Classical Education curriculum is great. The academics are high here compared to other Christian schools in the area. They just started a sports program (soccer, basketball and cross country) and the soccer team won the league! The teachers pour into the students and it shows. I love that it is easy to get involved in the Home and School program and meet other parents as well. We could not be happier here...Read 3 Reviews

Senior: Moravian is heading in the wrong direction, they are a private school that costs a lot to attend and yet they are removing any type of formality from the school. We might as well not have chapel any more because it has become both meaningless and godless. Our dress code has become so lax that we look like a public school. The administration is so out of touch with the students and pushing horrible initiatives on us. While I enjoy the social and academic aspect of Moravian it certainly has declined since I started attending in pre-kindergarten...Read 70 Reviews
