Senior: Wonderful faith based education where academics are top priority. Students are encouraged to be faithful savants while being challenged in college preperatory courses. Teachers and staff make themselves available to both students and parents providing a learning environment that teaches the total person. Engagement in extracurricular activities is encouraged with options ranging from athletics to music/drama and various clubs. I would highly recommend Shanley High School!... Read 62 reviews

Senior: Kindred High School has a great environment, but some of the management is biased and often uses favoritism to get close to students. For example, the Phy Ed teachers favor the sporty kids over the less-sporty kids. The English teachers tend to favor the artsy students over those less artsy. This results in a large gap between certain students and teachers, thus cliques are created not only between peers but also between the management and students. The educational program is good but could be so much better. It lacks the ability to properly ready seniors for college, but I've discovered there are not many high schools that succeed in this area. The sports programs are favored highly over the arts resulting in lower funding for the arts. Many times, sports students will be excused more happily than those who are gone from school for art programs. The school is remote and therefore pretty safe. It's unlikely for a child to be harmed here but bullying does occur as it does anywhere.... Read 102 reviews

Senior: My high school experience at Bishop Mcnamara, I see as a privledge . Being able to come up with the finances and tools to experience a private school education is one I see now as a great investment and amazing oppurtunity. Each day when I walk into Bishop Mcnamara I am greeted with a smile, a how are you doing or a pat on the back from my administration or a staff member. I am constantly challenged to think and push myself through my variety of AP, college prep and honors courses. The challenge and love doesn't stop in the classroom. Involved in every single dance art possible, my plate is definitely a full one. But I see that my school sees art as an importance to me, so they make it a priority to be of importance to them. I am thankful for Bishop Mcnamara and how it has shaped me as a individual, performer of the arts and as a student. I strongly believe the tools I have gained have prepared me for school after I leave this institution and then some!... Read 340 reviews

Senior: My experience at Richland high school has obviously been a journey. I feel Richland is a great school because the teachers do their best to give you one on one help. I feel this school cares a lot about every students academic future. What I feel should change is the discipline. I feel Richland struggles with disciplining students who are out of line and disrespectful towards other students. If Richland were to not tolerate students who were disrespectful towards others, we’d have a lot more pride in our school and respect towards one another and along with that more students would transfer to us.... Parent: As the parent of two children in the lower school, I am extremely pleased with SSSAS. The Early Saints teachers make each day engaging for my 3-year-old. The monthly units the ES learn have prompted my son to apply what he’s learned to the world around him (the food unit they completed prompts a nightly discussion about which foods on his plate are muscle foods, brain foods, etc.). His teachers started a recent parent conference with 3 very specific adjectives to describe my son and given the examples they gave me, it is clear that really understand him as a whole child. My experiences with JK and K were also nothing short of fantastic; even during the pandemic the teachers were able to connect with my son. The K and 1st grade teachers have also provided my son a solid educational foundation; they have identified his strengths and given additional challenging work so that he hasn’t been bored. Any issues I’ve had have been quickly and appropriately addressed by his teachers.... Read 132 reviews
