Alum: I liked Bishop McCort because they prepared for the next level of academics and athletics. The teachers and staff are very helpful to make sure you learn the most you can. Around the school, there is a lot of school spirit and everyone is kind and helpful. The student body itself is very supportive with athletics and the arts department. I wish the clubs and activities were more involved as in making it more appealing for all students of different likes.... Read 124 reviews

Alum: I came to BC as a transfer from public school, so I did not know anyone when I arrived as a Freshman. However, even though I am extremely shy, I never felt excluded, and four years later I have the best friends that I've ever had. As for the academic side, the teachers challenged the students, but never refused to offer extra help. Because of the small size, BC allows students to take on various leadership roles; I became the head of set design for the drama club. The only thing I would change is the building, which needs countless improvements. However, what Bishop Carroll lacks in money, it makes up for in environment. I will surely miss my high school!... Senior: Overall, Veritas is a great place to go to school, and I've enjoyed my years there! Veritas is very different from other schools. It's small, but that's a good thing because students can have closer, more meaningful friendships. The small class sizes at Veritas also become like family. When compared to public schools, our sports, theatre, and music programs are small, but that makes it easy for anyone interested to join in. And, Veritas has many talented athletes, actors, and musicians who have done amazing things! What Veritas teaches is also very different from other schools: 2nd-7th graders take Latin as a base for learning other languages later, and Veritas also teaches Bible, History, Literature, and Theology in one class structure called Omnibus. Math and science classes are also solid and engaging, and dual enrollment courses for college credit are available for juniors and seniors. The teachers at Veritas are excellent, and they know how to make learning seem easy and fun!... Read 39 reviews

Parent: My grandchildren attend CCCS and I love the school. The kids love it, the teachers and facility are awesome. It is a safe, happy environment where kids can be kids. The teachers and faculty go out of their way to help the kids and make learning fun for the kids. I love volunteering to help out and truly enjoy everyone there. No crime, I do not worry about my car sitting there with doors open. Everyone looks after everyone else. Great school!... Read 8 reviews

Parent: I have children at the public school and it is awful academically compared to holy name. And whoever want to complain about tuition you get what you invest into your child. Send them to public school for an eye opener in this area. My youngest two will be a product of this school they instill value and morals which are severely lacking in our public school educational system. Hands down 100 times better than any public school in this rural area.... Read 3 reviews

Parent: I have a 6th grader and a 4th grader that have been at Divine Mercy Catholic Academy since preschool. It’s very special to us! Smaller class sizes = more one-on-one time. Religion class every day and church mass every week provides your child a closer relationship with God. Each & every teacher is a blessing to the school! Every staff member there truly loves your child. I am so grateful to have DMCA and can’t imagine my children going anywhere else. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, schools shut down on Friday March 13. Our administration sprung into action and made it possible for our kids to continue schooling uninterrupted (at home online) starting Monday March 16! They never missed a day since! I am amazed by the tenacity & dedication of the Divine Mercy Catholic Academy administration, teachers & staff.... Read 4 reviews

Alum: Penn Hills provided an immersive experience and various networking opportunities, assuming you turned them into networking experiences. When paired with NMSI, Penn Hills rivaled top-performing schools across the Greater Pittsburgh Area and has an educational quality equivalent or comparable to Taylor Alderdice Highschool. The Gifted Program and STEM courses are phenomenal, with AP courses being stressed to students. I am currently a Duquesne University, and I can honestly say that Penn Hills Highschool AP is significantly more difficult than this established 4-year university. You may have concerns over the district's taxes, money issues, and publicity, but if your child is devoted to learning; none of this will matter.... Read 56 reviews

Alum: As a former student of Rise Hybrid Private Academy, I highly recommend to anyone debating to enroll! Not only did this Academy enable me to excel both in and out of the classroom, but the students/teacher became family. Students receive an unparalleled education while still having fun! I will forever cherish my memories of AP Biology dissection labs, the field trip to Washington DC, even one on one math (which wasn’t my strong suit🤣yet it is still a major memory, proving the impact of this school and teacher!), Secret Santa during the holidays, and many more. Through this Academy, I established a foundation in advanced education as well as life skills such as communication, time management/efficiency, and work ethic. I would not be the person I am today had I not enrolled in Rise Hybrid Private Academy!... Read 10 reviews
