Sophomore: My experience at G-R High Schools is like a baby and a lemon. For the most part my experiences were surprising, at times I have struggled and at others I prevailed. I feel as if the teachers actually impact your learn and give you people to trust in. The academic parts were alway challenging and if you didn’t understand then you alway have someone to go to for help and information. The teachers at G-R High School are really outstanding and valuable, and I don’t think you could get that at any other place...Read 17 Reviews

Senior: Overall I think that BCLUW is a good school. There are many good things that help the students learn. They make it so the students have the resources that they need and leave it to them to put their best effort forward. I also think that they have a wide variety of after-school activities such as sports, drama, or clubs. The facilities are clean and the custodial people work hard to keep it that way as much as possible. As a whole, the teachers and staff are very nice especially since some students like to push their buttons. ...I struggled a lot when I was younger, so I was put in the special education program to help me get better. Throughout elementary and middle school it helped me a decent amount and when I got into high school I got to a spot in my learning where I graduated out of the program. If I could change one thing it would be to make it a more child-specific way of learning. In closing, I feel like BCLUW gave me a typical public school experience; not overly good or bad...Read 41 Reviews

Senior: Personally I have had an amazing experience with my schooling at Knoxville! I wouldn’t change a thing for myself, but I could see how my school may not be great for others. Our diversity, number of clubs and facilities are lacking. Our facilities are subject to change in our near future but I believe that more clubs could be created and hopefully, with time, our school will become more diverse...Read 19 Reviews

Senior: I quite enjoy how small the school is because you get to have a personal education. When the teachers actually know you, then it helps the student feel supported. The only thing that I would change would be to have more of a push towards positive attitudes at school, for a lot of students did not have positive attitudes.Read 10 Reviews

Parent: Our son started at Holy Trinity last year during the Pandemic and the school just became our family. Through all sorts of ups and downs, they were incredibly supportive. They addressed the pandemic with thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. We feel fully engaged in the amazing community. The other parents have become great new friends. The administration and teachers are very welcoming and accommodating. The classwork has been so creative and fun for our now Kindergartener. He loves coming to school everyday and has formed great bonds with his classmates. There's great aftercare. We can't wait for our other children to join him...Read 4 Reviews
