Parent: We transferred our children to CLS early in the Pandemic from MCPS to receive in-person schooling so we can continue to work. The amount of dedication and selflessness the staff and teachers displayed during this challenging and stressful time was a testament to their pride in their work and love of God. The quality in the schooling is good. Cursive, hand writing, language arts and grammar were deficient in the public schools and I was grateful that it is emphasized here. There was a lot of catching up for my kids! Living a life of good character is discussed regularly. My older child’s math did not grow much this year but it was because he was in accelerated math and this is not available at the school. I hope this can change. We are keeping both our children in this school this coming year.... Read 50 reviews

Parent: My family moved to Moravia when our daughter was entering 7th grade. She is now a senior. There is not much diversity at the school and my daughter is one of a minority as she is Puerto Rican. She has had some challenges with name calling and such but the school did a great job stopping the behavior. She has enjoyed their music program and has also played sports. Other than that I feel that they could offer more clubs, parent involvement and welcoming new people to the community. The teachers are amazing and have gone above and beyond. Over all I am happy with the 6 years she has spent in the school district and looking forward to her moving on to college.... Read 19 reviews

Parent: Simply put, St. Luke's gets it right. They teach and lead through their community standards and in turn help develop well-rounded, thoughtful children who become good humans. Their success is demonstrated not only in their HS placement but, more importantly, in the happiness in their student body. They allow a window into this culture in the LS through their weekly Mentions meetings held on Fridays where a different grade each week presents on what the community standards mean to them. The campus is idyllic and there is little that tops the call to school by church bells in the morning. They expertly have navigated the past year which demonstrates the strength of their leadership. They not only value their students but the parents as well, communicating regularly. The teachers and staff are helpful, responsive and supportive. The After School program is excellent, making it a great community for working parents. We love St. Luke's and could not recommend it more highly!... Read 5 reviews

Parent: Our family is absolutely grateful to The Harley School. They recognized my son had a difficult time focusing and made the effort to get him the support he needed to manage it. He has adopted a learning mindset, and is able to break problems into manageable tasks, instead of becoming overwhelmed. We couldn't be happier with his progress at The Harley School!...
