Sophomore: TASIS Dorado is a prestigious institution which I have attended since the age of 3. It has taught me many things, like English, Spanish, Math, and all of those subjects but more importantly it has taught me fundamental values which I will use throughout the rest of my life. The staff and faculty have been there for every moment and are heavily engaged and ready to provide any help for any student who needs it. The counsler who is absolutely wonderful has been there throughout my hardest times and has been of the most understanding. This school not only provides the absolute best people to make sure you are well taken care of but everyone in this school can feel accepted for who they are. TASIS has a lot of options for clubs, extracurriculars, and more. The school offers 4 languages two of which are mandatory and has sent students on various trips around the world to engage in different cultures and experiences. Sophomore: I've been a part of this school from sixth grade and am currently a rising junior. It is a good school that emphasizes careers and preparations with heavy involvement of science and math. Some of our great groups and activities are the medicine/health club and the Pi Day. On Pi Day we dedicate all day on activities involving 3.14 such as making a gigantic pie, making shirts and a 3.14mile run. And if you do not like math there are still other clubs such as the school's paper (journalism), music, and sports like volleyball and basketball. Recently 10th grade students created a butterfly farm as part of biology class to help raise and release monarch butterflies. This school may not be perfect, but students have a great time making memories, helping the island with clubs such as the butterfly farm and most importantly learning and preparing themselves for the future and college.... Alum: My years as a high schooler in the Ladislao Martinez High School are one of the best memories I have of my youth. The biggest asset this school has is their teaches, because not only do they help their students strive academically but also personally. I can confidently say that I've become the professional I am today thanks to them. The school as a high school is the only one in the area and for this reason, it receives all middle school students of the town and unite them as one, as the last step to prepare yourself for the college world.
