Senior: My overall experience in this school was quite interesting. Just like other schools, they have ups and downs to it. I learned a lot in my high school years because of them. Also have learned great life lessons. Friends were gained and some were lost. I met the love of my life there as well! The authorities at Haverling are hardworking and unique in their own ways. I will not forget my experience with them...Read 41 Reviews

Parent: My son attended SACH for five years and he loved it. We were zoned to PS 29 and after receiving his acceptances at both schools we were torn as to the decision. We finally decided on SA Cobble Hill for three main reasons: 1) this school is beautifully diverse. 2) the students have recess and science EVERY DAY; it's so important for little ones to move around a lot. 3) The curriculum was amazing- the books were a mixture of fiction, non-fiction and poetry starting in kindergarten and kids are explicitly taught how to think critically and how to approach problems in more than one way...My son now has a really sweet group of diverse friends, he speaks confidently, and argues persuasively. There are so many incredibly loving teachers in that school. Finally, the kids have so much joy at the school- from dance breaks to art parades to the field trips every two weeks. My family has truly had a wonderful experience at Success Academy Cobble Hill.Read 3 Reviews

Senior: Prattsburgh Central School is a small school in a small town. Since the grades K-12 are in the same building, I've gotten to know my classmates for twelve years and have built relationships that will last a lifetime. Although the town is small, the community has a big spirit that shines during sports competitions. Also, since there fewer people in a class, the teachers can have a one on one relationship with the students and create a learning environment and style that benefits each student. The teachers truly have your best interest in mind and encourage questions and seeking extra help outside of class. There are also plenty of ACE courses you can take through Corning Community College at PCS to earn college credit at an affordable price. Overall, the students, the teachers, and the community provide an educational experience that I'll be forever grateful for as I go to college and pursue a career. Thank you PCS!...Read 8 Reviews

Parent: Both of our kids started at The New School in ninth grade, after eight years of public school. It was one of the best parenting decisions we've ever made. Everything about this school is terrific. The teachers are passionate, inspired, and inspiring. Small, topics-driven, seminar-style classes foster creativity and independent thinking, while the welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel at home. Our two kids turned out to be very different kinds of learners, but both thrived at The New School. Our youngest graduates next year, and we'll be sad to think of not having that day-to-day connection. Can't say enough about this wonderful school!...Read 26 Reviews
