Senior: I have attended The Perkiomen School since 6th grade. Because of the small class sizes and overall small school size, I was able to develop friendships that I expect to have forever. I was a shy, reserved kid and looking back, appreciate the way the teachers were able to engage us in the discussions. In most of my classes, the desks are arranged in a circle to promote discussion and interaction among students. I also appreciate the ability to play on a sports team, despite your skill level. As an average athlete, I likely would not have been able to participate in any varsity sport in my public high school. Junior: Allentown Central Catholic High School is different from most schools as it connects young men and women to faith. The guidance counselors are great and have enlightened to apply to several scholarships! The teachers and staff are very kind! Friday night football games at J. Bernie Crum Stadium are always fun and memorable. The changes the school should undergo in following years are as follows; the school lunch is great, but very expensive. The school is clean, but very old and damaged. Other than that, the school, the academics, the club, the teachers and staff are great. Senior: I've had a really good experience at Emmaus High School! I've had countless opportunities for the things I'm interested in, including the school newspaper (through which I have participated in three journalism conferences, won an award in a contest, and gotten lots of good experience for my future career in journalism), the art-literary magazine, the world language programs, and multiple other clubs and activities. The school offers classes on every possible subject, so it's sometimes difficult to choose between different classes to take. The faculty and staff are wonderful, and always work to build connections with the students. Niche User: My experience at Lower Macungie Middle school was an amazing experience. First and foremost,I will always appreciate how willing and helpful the teachers were whenever a student did not understand the work that was being learned. The teachers there were always specific and would go step by step whether it was math or in English learning to write properly. I also enjoyed the classes they were both fun and entertaining and I learned so much. I also found that the last period for study hall was extremely helpful to catch up on any extra work I had. I was also able to ask the teachers for extra help if I needed to have a better understanding on that subject. Middle School Student: Attending Lehigh Christian Academy has changed my life. I am in 8th grade now and joined in 6th grade and I can honestly tell you that everything about this school is amazing and you should definitely attend. They incorporate the Bible in pretty much every subject and really try hard to prepare students for the future in a worldly setting with a Biblical worldview. I love the chapel services every Wednesday and their arts and sports programs. They have rigorous academics and really work you the core. Niche User: As a student who did really well here, I have little to complain about. I made a lot of friends I am still friends with today, I got a good education, and I enjoyed my experience. Something that always got to me; it always seemed like the same kids and same families would be getting all this recognition for various things to the point where it would get annoying. Might be what is expected in a small school though. Also, one of my siblings who also attended this school needed extra help and didn't seem to get it.
