Alum: I graduated in 2020, and I attended for six years (7th-12th). TJ is a jewel. The diverse community allowed me to see different perspectives on life. I met some of the best people while I was there. From students to teachers to faculty, everyone there is absolutely wonderful. I was able to learn and grow. As a boarding student, I enjoyed the community after hours: friends would work out in the gym, play games in main, and study in founders. TJ is a place that allows you to grow because you are not afraid to make mistakes. One of my favorite teachers used to say: "Stupidity is its own reward, and some are more rewarded than others." I was able to fail and answer questions wrong in class without being judged. This school has fully prepared me for college: my first year was a breeze! I was very involved in the theater program and many, many clubs as well, and the clubs including ITS were a blast! I highly recommend this school for students prepared to grow and learn.... Senior: One thing I love about Palmyra High School is the caring Christian community present there. I am in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and have taken part in prayer on Friday mornings before school. It also offers a fair amount of variety in its extracurricular activities, athletic and academic. Another big plus is in the school's resources, including iPads and Adobe packages for student use. It offers a fairly high number of dual credit classes through Missouri universities such as HLGU, MACC, and CMU. The school also offers an advanced placement course in calculus. While the amount of high honors classes are not as numerous as some larger schools, there are at least a few. The school is also not too large, with somewhere in the ballpark of 350 students in attendance. Finally, the school also has several special education teachers on staff and offers a program for students that don't do well in traditional classroom settings.... Read 39 reviews

Parent: The Admissions department made the application process seamless. They were easy to reach; gladly returned phone calls and inquiries; and, assisted with the application process during each step. Compared to other independent college prep institutions, RMA is a small school. However, we were thoroughly impressed with the diversity that we saw during the summer camp program; We were pleased to see that it carried over to the academic year. The curriculum is rigorous. The staff is caring. There are a variety of extracurricular activities that are day and boarding inclusive. Any family "on the fence" about RMA should definitely consider a second look, or reach out to staff. You'll be glad you did!... Read 162 reviews
