Sophomore: As an international student, it’s a pretty good school, yet it’s better for Americans. I found several nice people there. It is a very liberal school, many people still have bias for asians tho. This school will make you study, and make friends. If your old school sucked, you’ll probably like it!...Read 74 Reviews

Senior: At Lehman Catholic, I was raised in a smaller environment but it created bonds with peers and teaching in a more personalized light. We were able to get a better understanding on certain subjects, creating a stronger hold on our education and a liking being in class. And with all my four years of attending, not only have I grow in education but also in faith. Unlike many schools in my area, in my Catholic school we still leave room to learn our faith. This has been such an amazing experience for me throughout the years. Lehman has also prepared me for my future, teaching me not only the basics of sciences, math, and English but how to make a better mark as an adult. In business, another language, spreading my faith to those who would love to hear, and in the bigger picture, for new friendships and careers...Read 32 Reviews

Alum: This school was very good at preparing me for college courses. Most of the teachers genuinely cared about the students and their success. As a smaller school, the course options and opportunities were limited. The options for college credit and AP classes included 3-5 choices for the entire high school. Although the courses were very well taught, they were very general. There weren’t many specialized classes that would help upcoming graduates decide what they wanted to specialize in for a career or as a college student. Despite this, I left this school district with a great foundation of knowledge that I have been able to carry through my college career thus far and a wonderful support system that has encouraged me to pursue my future career...Read 65 Reviews

Senior: My years at Houston High School were ones I will never forget. I am going into my senior year and I have been at Houston since kindergarten. The teachers at Houston are very helpful and always doing what is best for their students. Education is held at a high standard and each student gets the attention and learning they need. There are also many activities that occur at Houston, however, I feel that as kids get older the less activities there are to do at the school. I also wish Houston had a football team because that would earn our school extra money, and bring the community together through games and more. These, however, are minor things and do not change the overall picture of the school. Houston High School has put me on a good path for the future and they are always thinking about what is best for the community and the students which makes it an amazing school for all ages...Read 25 Reviews

Senior: At Sidney High School I have had two of my most favorite teachers. One was my Geometry Teacher and the other was my Choir Director. They are very supporting and taught me the subject thoroughly along with important life lessons. I have met so many different people and had amazing experiences especially in the choir and cross-country programs. I would not change my experience in these activities and am grateful to have them. The administration, on the other hand, has been changing year after year and I believe it is critical to establish a school within its administration. There has been a great level of inconsistency which is important in a school. The academics could be more challenging and on task in order to get more things accomplished during the school day. Overall, Sidney High School is a neat place and has given me many priceless experiences...Read 106 Reviews

Parent: The Admissions department made the application process seamless. They were easy to reach; gladly returned phone calls and inquiries; and, assisted with the application process during each step. Compared to other independent college prep institutions, RMA is a small school. However, we were thoroughly impressed with the diversity that we saw during the summer camp program; We were pleased to see that it carried over to the academic year. ...The curriculum is rigorous. The staff is caring. There are a variety of extracurricular activities that are day and boarding inclusive. Any family "on the fence" about RMA should definitely consider a second look, or reach out to staff. You'll be glad you did!...Read 162 Reviews

Parent: St. Rita has been such a gift to our family! The one-on-one attention both of my children receive has made the transition to a new school so easy. They are both thriving in their classrooms and the experience has been unmatched. The school community is so much more than that - it's a family. The strong values that are taught, coinciding with high academic standards has allowed my children to excel and I know that not only are they learning school skills, but also how to be good citizens and people...Read 12 Reviews
