Alum: MFHS is an amazing school to attend. The faculty, staff, and students are welcoming and warm. The school offers strong academics; however, it would be great if it offered more AP classes. The teachers there are enthusiastic and always willing to help a student in need. The guidance counselor never fails to offer great advice when it comes to applying to scholarships and college. He was a big help when I was a senior struggling to apply for college. Go Trojans!...Read 51 Reviews

Senior: I have been attending GWUOHS since 7th grade. I am now in 12th, so that's 6 whole years with them! Personally, I'm someone who likes to be challenged, so I have loved the rigorous education system that they've provided throughout the years. I also like having the freedom to go to school without the need to leave the house (of course, that's the situation for the majority of us now during this pandemic). Nevertheless, I appreciate having a much more flexible schedule due to this school's platform. ... I've had a slight issue with this school, however. I would recommend that GWUOHS provides better counseling from advisors regarding courses. I was unaware that the courses I was taking had caused me to advance by 1 year ahead of the other students who were in my same grade. I didn't learn until last year that I was required to return for my senior year for only 2 electives and my final Journeys Symposium class in order to fulfill the missing credits I needed in order to graduate...Read 32 Reviews

Senior: I've had a good high school experience. The food sucks most of the time, but there are a lot of options, most are unhealthy. The teachers of the higher classes are great (except for one), but lower ones are not so great. The administration can be rude, but they are considerate and caring when the time is right. There are many dual credit classes available to prepare you for college which is great. I feel more confident moving forward because of this. There is an on-campus policeman during all school hours, and he makes you feel safe while learning. The doors are always locked to anybody on the outside, and they can only enter after checking into the office to earn a visitor's pass. The school is very safe, and there are multiple drills to prepare for the worst case scenarios. Basically every student and teacher is white with a handful of exceptions. There are tons of activities to get involved in, and many are well-funded. Sports are taken extremely seriously. It shows during games...Read 118 Reviews

Alum: Warrensburg is a very strong community. The teachers care about their students and want to see them succeed. Since I've graduated, there have been more extracurricular activities and programs added to the school. The music and art program is amazing. Alum: What I like most about this school is how passionate and caring the teachers are. They truly care about how welfare of the students and strive to help students be successful professionally and personally. Something that I would like to see in the future is more clubs and organizations. There is a severe lack of organized groups. Special-interest clubs cultivate passion and community which is helpful in applying for college...Read 36 Reviews

Parent: We have 2 boys currently attending WES. One is in his 3rd year there and a 2nd grader and the younger is 2 months into his first year (kindergarten). Both love their school and the teachers; they can't wait to go to school every single day. ...I'm always surprised at how fast they learned to read and they're now writing stories at home...for fun! The school's focus on being kind, confident, and prepared is definitely the right direction and this mentality shows in each of their students. The parents with whom we interact are also very nice and some have become good friends. The administration staff is exceptional. It shows every day in every teacher and staff member. The head of school is out there every morning welcoming kids to school, helping with drop off, and greeting everyone by name...Read 17 Reviews

Alum: I recommended Immanuel Lutheran School to everyone who wants a quality education and opportunities to learn and grow in Christ. I attended Immanuel from 1995-2005 and am so thankful for my years there. It gave me the tools and skills I needed to be successful in life. The friendships I made during my time at Immanuel are still strong today, after 20+ years. The staff is dedicated to the growth of the minds and hearts of students. I remember some of my favorite memories of Immanuel came from service learning experiences such as the Kindergarten Buddy Program and a mission trip to West Virginia. The skills I learned from Immanuel lead to success in high school and beyond. Immanuel is not only a school, but also an entire community, which has been an instrumental part of my life and will continue to be my main support system for many years to come!...Read 6 Reviews
