Parent: My girls have attended Pine Haven for the 4 years now. Their grades are excellent, I feel because the teachers are more able to do one on one with the kids. Parents are very supportive of our smaller school district which plays a huge role in the over all success of the school...Read 2 Reviews

Senior: Bauxite has great staff and offers many opportunities. Teachers there are very helpful. Many of them host clubs and teams that you can join to help find your interests and start networking. Although, communication between students and staff as well as staff with each other could be improved...Read 114 Reviews

Parent: We are so happy at NPS! The community is so kind and welcoming, and the academic experience outstanding. The school’s core values (love, respect, honesty, safety, and responsibility) really are at the center of the experience there. Our children thrive with multiple recess breaks and physical education to keep them moving across the school day, and they so enjoy the art, music, Spanish, and other specials. We’ve been so impressed with the resources available for individual learning needs and the customized approach to helping each child with academic or counseling needs. Especially during Covid, we felt like the school put out a safety net and caught our children. Our son is in his fifth year there, daughter in her third, and they simply love going to school...Read 24 Reviews

Parent: As the parent of two children in the lower school, I am extremely pleased with SSSAS. The Early Saints teachers make each day engaging for my 3-year-old. The monthly units the ES learn have prompted my son to apply what he’s learned to the world around him (the food unit they completed prompts a nightly discussion about which foods on his plate are muscle foods, brain foods, etc.). His teachers started a recent parent conference with 3 very specific adjectives to describe my son and given the examples they gave me, it is clear that really understand him as a whole child. ...My experiences with JK and K were also nothing short of fantastic; even during the pandemic the teachers were able to connect with my son. The K and 1st grade teachers have also provided my son a solid educational foundation; they have identified his strengths and given additional challenging work so that he hasn’t been bored. Any issues I’ve had have been quickly and appropriately addressed by his teachers...Read 132 Reviews

Alum: I attended The Williams School (TWS) in Ghent from second to eighth grade. It is without a doubt the most special and most rewarding educational experience I have had throughout my academic career which, to date, spans an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree. Small class sizes foster deep, long-lasting connections with peers, teachers, and other faculty and stimulate creative learning across the board. Faculty at TWS truly go above and beyond for each student and work tirelessly to make sure each student's individual needs are met. Their dedication builds a level of trust in other and in self that further empowers students to be proactive not only in their education, but also in their personal and social development. TWS provides extracurricular opportunities during a pivotal developmental period that, at larger schools, students may frankly not have the opportunity to fully experience (athletics, forensics, music); students are completely immersed. Truly a magnificent school!...Read 9 Reviews
