Parent: The Altamont School has been a part of my family for many years. I attended Altamont grades 7-12, my husband attended grades 5-12, and I am now a parent to current 5th and 7th graders. As a student myself, I loved every aspect of Altamont. The community, teachers, classes, sports - everything! I have nothing but fond memories of my years there and was thrilled for the day I could send my children to school at Altamont. Although the school has grown and changed in many positive ways since I was there, my kids have had a similar experience. They love the community, the teachers, their classes and the many friendships they have made...Read 25 Reviews

Senior: HTHS gives their students an amazing chance at a wonderful future! We have excellent teachers and staff who help us achieve our personal, athletic, and academic goals. They realize college is not for everyone, so they don't push that on the people who would rather earn a trade or a skill. Which we all know are equally as important as a career that requires college. Our advisors plug into our lives and make us aware of opportunities that can help improve our resume, increase our grades and give us a jump start in the direction we are headed. Being apart of our softball program has trained me to become a better person on and off the field. My coaches keep a close eye on my grades and continuously push me out of my comfort zone so that I can continue to improve. We have work outs, practices, and trainers to assist us with both. Our team has been State Champions for the past two years and it did not come without hard work and dedication. Skills we learn on the field and in the classroom...Read 256 Reviews

Parent: We have 7th, 5th and 3rd graders, all who have attended Paine from kindergarten. We have had 100% satisfaction with every teacher they’ve all had. Great communication from the principal all the way through the faculty. We love the way they incorporate character building in the curriculum, and give character-based awards to the children, as this is a great fundamental to being a good human being. Thank you to the Paine “family” for all you do for our next generation!...Read 7 Reviews

Junior: I met the most inspirational people here at this school. They are my closest friends and teachers. The entirety of the student body and staff help you evolve and become more involved than ever before. This institution has brought ups and downs, but nevertheless it has brought me great joy in becoming a part time of the community. Family and friends are a part of my school life and communicate well with each other. Teachers are asking the right questions, the hard questions that need to be asked. Senior: Springville High School has a lot to offer! Our sports, academics, and clubs all offer something different for every student. The teachers are devoted to their job and committed to preparing us for college. Springville offers 11 different AP classes. Each AP teacher makes sure that their classroom setting is very similar to a college setting. Our campus is very nice and not too big nor too small. Our administration makes sure that everything is kept in check and runs smoothly. However, they still have good relationships with the students. Junior: I have multiple opinions of Moody. It really is a fun place- mostly if you are a football player or cheerleader. I’ve seen that Moody falls under the all too cliche group of schools that glorifies the football team- and the football team only. Every other extracurricular or sport is so severely underfunded and unrecognized that students are charged ridiculous amounts of money to participate or the program never gets off the ground. Some truly talented students come through this school and are not offered the opportunities they deserve. I love the staff and everyone has a way of making high school fun, but this school has room for improvement nonetheless. We recently have increased the property tax ad velorem so hopefully this helps the issue. My teachers are incredible and I only wish the school could do more for them. The curriculum is helpful and I feel adequately prepared for college. Overall, while moody is not without its flaws, I have enjoyed my high school experience at Moody...Read 140 Reviews

Alum: During my time at Clay-Chalkville, I was a cheerleader, student leader, mentor, and honors student. I took AP and advanced classes--graduating with a GPA that surpassed 4.0. However, the curriculum sounded better than it truly was. I would love to see more application-based teaching in the AP classroom that would further support the transition into the university classroom and the "real world." I also wish that leadership positions were taken more seriously by teachers/advisors. Personal development is imperative in the real world. Though I caught a glimpse of this concept during my time in high school, it was purely by chance. Everyone does not transcend into a university to learn such skills, so having an introduction in high school would be helpful...Read 321 Reviews

Alum: I grew up in Chicago, where few students attend boarding school, so I didn't know what to expect when I traveled across the country for high school. I'm so thankful I took that risk! Chatham Hall was a warm, challenging, exciting environment. It opened up opportunities I never would have had anywhere else. As a student on scholarship, I felt consistently valued and supported. ...After graduation, I came to appreciate the experience even more: I arrived at college far better prepared than almost any of my peers.
