Senior: Wilmington Friends School is an incredibly welcoming environment that prides itself on its community and value for the individual. The school truly is an incredible place to cultivate the delicate and ever-learning adolescent mind. Teachers are always willing and able to assist those in need, which really speaks to the administration's ability to pick the perfect people for the jobs they fill. As a senior, I have fully enjoyed my tenure here and would recommend this school to anyone!...Read 62 Reviews

Sophomore: I have truly enjoyed my experience at Archmere Academy. Coming from a large public middle school, to a small, Catholic school was a big transition for me. I love the academic opportunities at the school. Not only can I challenge myself and find classes that interest me, I also have teachers who are passionate about what they teach and are always willing to help students understand via one-on-one time, questions in class, or new lessons. I personally enjoy the arts program and the athletics program; both showcase the talent of the students and allows students to channel their energies. My suggestion would to be conscientious about coursework. Homework can pile up if you don't manage your time well. Overall, I love coming to school everyday!...Read 168 Reviews

Sophomore: I was hesitant with the choice to transfer my schooling to online and to ICL Academy. Will I learn? Will I have friends? The list goes on and on, but my concerns are no longer relevant following my first year of online schooling at ICL. I am shocked by my level of consistently motivated spirit to learn. I can confidently give the credit to the applicableness of my learning. I can easily relate it to myself. I am amazed by the increased efficiency during school time; through a good balance of structured learning, and freedom when necessary. Everyone has different needs and schedules. Icl does a tremendous job with flexibility. For example, I found I had some extra time during the day, so I enrolled in a college level psychology class and two more rigorous classes at they're sister school: Dwight Global. Most importantly, the community is amazing. Almost everyone participates on a high level, and there is no shortage of thoughts and opinions being dished out in class. 10/10 rec to ICl!...Read 40 Reviews

Alum: Salesianum has a name to uphold. So do the students there. They like to use the phrase,"you students are standing on the shoulders of giants," and they are correct. But what goes largely unnoticed is that many of the students themselves are already well on their way to growing to sizes of larger proportions while being supported by each other and the amazing faculty at the school. I honestly really did not want to go to Sallies when picking out high schools, but with parents like mine, I never had the freedom to choose. Yet some how I come to be satisfied with the decision that was made. The athletics are top notch, musical productions never disappointed, there was always an activity to take part in or game to be played. The academics were great not just because of the entire extremely competent teachers, but also because of the many bright young individuals working their hardest. In the end I was very happy to have graduated from Salesianum and to have found a home with those I'd met...Read 114 Reviews

Sophomore: Ursuline is a fantastic community full of amazing teachers, staff, and students. I have attended Ursuline since I was in kindergarden, and I am privileged to be a part of such a wonderful school! The classes are extremely immersive and the teachers are very supportive and able to offer one on one attention and guidance when needed. The classes are all focused on increasing confidence and leadership skills, while also challenging you to push yourself to learn on new levels. The sisterhood at Ursuline is also an incredible thing to experience. All of the girls are so kind and welcoming, and it truly makes you feel so accepted and connected to everyone. Alum: I am extremely grateful for my high school experience and the opportunity to go to Padua Academy. Going into freshman year I immediately felt more than welcomed with ample opportunity to meet my classmates and future best friends. The loving environment encouraged me to be myself and grow as a person without judgement. I was involved in my school as a member of varsity dance team and participant in multiple clubs. The community rooted in the idea of sisterhood always felt like a support system in my life. My teachers always wanted the best for me, and truly cared about all of their students well-being. It shaped me as a confident young woman, both in and out of the classroom. As salutatorian of my graduating class, I was able to express these feelings towards my class through a speech at graduation, which means so much to me. Padua made me extremely prepared for my future both as a student and as a person...Read 214 Reviews

Senior: There are many things to be said for Saint Elizabeth High School. The small environment allows for a close, familial feel, and I can say I know everyone in my graduating class. It also offers a good range of programs, sports, and classes. There is also an ease in connect with teachers and communicating issues with administrative staff. Nearly all teachers respond to emails quickly. I would not change much about the school, but I would’ve liked more AP classes, along with teachers who are more comfortable with the subject matter he or she is teaching. The arts programs also could be better supported and funded...Read 121 Reviews

Senior: I can say that this school has great academics, social life, safety, and sports. This school has a friendly teacher-student relationship. The students are pretty social with each other, preventing cliche`s similar to your classic high school movies. Certain sports are more involved than others, but students attend a majority of the meets for friends or great athletes. They offer classes that many other schools don’t have anymore such as homes and technical education. Great selection of AP courses and honors class make this high school a fantastic choice for college-prep. Overall, between the staff and students, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a solid public school...Read 174 Reviews

Niche User: My 2 grandchildren attend Concord Christian Academy. They started in K4 and the oldest is now in 3rd grade. I have felt blessed since day one when were leaving and the school secretary said a sweet goodbye to my granddaughter and used her name. I was impressed! I thank God every day for this school. The teachers are all very caring and go above and beyond to make sure the students succeed. They are available to us anytime via text, phone or in person. Any issues or problems are handled right away. It's very diverse and like a family. Our 2nd and 3rd grader are learning things their 4th grade friend is not taught in public school. Nothing but positive things to say and feel about CCA. Also for a school this size there are good sports, art, computer, gym, music and language classes for all! Also can learn how to play instruments. A+++++...Read 24 Reviews

Parent: We chose to send our son to St. Edmonds Academy, entering in Junior Kindergarten. We toured several other schools in the area and when we walked into the school we immediately knew this would be home for our son! The top-notch education coupled with the warm, caring and leading teachers are just some of the reasons we feel so strongly about knowing the decision we made was a perfect fit. Not only has our son grown into a respectful young man, he is excelling more then we could've ever imagined. He continues to be challenged daily and has a greater understanding about our faith and the importance of community and leadership. St. Edmonds has been a wonderful experience for us as a family also. We have met and bonded closely with so many other great families, building everlasting friendships. This choice was by far the best we have made to date. ...Read 11 Reviews

Alum: I attended this school from kindergarten to 8th grade. I have many memories here and am glad I had the experience to make so many long-lasting friendships in a place that is so special to me. The teachers are probably the best part about the school. They are all so encouraging and really strive for every student to do their best. Since I was 5 at the school I loved every teacher I had and I mean that. I miss the school but I am thankful for what it offered. No school is perfect and there is some competition between the 2 conjoined parishes but nothing worth not attending the school.
