Parent: CMH has gone above and beyond during this pandemic by providing an excellent college prep experience while strictly following all COVID-19 safety parameters. I am very happy with the level of responsiveness by teachers and administrators at this school. While many students in our state have literally missed a year of school, CMH students have been able to study in person, meet with friends, and participate in athletics, arts, and worship. When I decided to send my daughter to CMH, I was a little hesitant because of the money, but I now can confirm that this is money well spent! Many public school parents who have had to watch their children rot at home with no athletic opportunities and canned online lessons, will most likely be paying money down the line to alleviate the inevitable psychological problems this pandemic will cause our state's children.... Parent: All four of our children attended Catholic Central. Two went on to graduate from Marquette, one is currently at Edgewood College, and our youngest is wrapping up his senior year and plans to attend Edgewood as well. Catholic Central provides a diverse curriculum complimented by passionate teachers and small class sizes. Parent: This is great middle school. They have advanced math up to high school geometry, a good selection of athletics, many clubs such as forensics and engineering, a nice instrumental program, and a great art teacher. The teachers do not inflate grades, which is good because I want my child to be told early on that something she did sucks if it was done poorly. The administration here is overly cautious, but that is probably a good thing when dealing with middle schoolers. Even though it is a private school, most families are solid middle class and the rich ones don't go around acting like they are rich. Alum: This school was very nice and had a loving community. However, there were definitely a couple of issues with bullying and name-calling, which made some of my years there quite sad. Parent: Not certain where some of these 'troll' remarks come from. It's a Choice School. Nearly 70 percent of the students receive a sort of subsidy from a local benefactor's scholarship, my kids among them. The uniform policy keeps the wealth warfare to a really low level. Great discipline, and great preparation for life and further schooling. Students in 7th and 8th have access to classes at the high school sharing the campus. My son learned more in his 8th grade classes here than they taught at his public high school in his junior year.
