Parent: Lutheran South Academy is a fantastic K-12 school has been an AMAZING experience for our 3 children! We have been at LSA for 14 years and could not be more thankful for the strong foundation that our kids have received in both academics and spirituality. Our children have always felt safe, secure, and loved by the LSA staff and community. In addition to an excellent education and outstanding facilities, our children have been able to participate and experience a wide variety of athletics, fine arts, and even service opportunities. At all three levels (lower, middle, and high school), the staff at LSA are caring, high quality, service minded professionals that are committed to the families of LSA. We are proud to say WE ARE PIONEERS and our children will always remember this school with love and respect!... Read 110 reviews

Works Here: I love teaching at Grace Christian Academy. I enjoy the freedom to teach my subjects, history and social studies, from a Christian perspective. Our quality program is designed to bring glory to God. Our school is host to a diverse group of students from around the world. Students, teachers, and staff enjoy learning about about the many nations represented in our school. Weekly chapels, with a student-led worship team, provide a time for students and staff to reflect on God’s Word. The school offers volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, baseball and softball, track and field, and soccer. We have a strong elementary and middle school music program. We are currently striving to enhance our high school music opportunities. I encourage you to explore the opportunities a GCA education can provide for your family.... Read 31 reviews

Parent: 10 Stars! Simply put, Trinity Valley School is the absolute "Gold Standard" for elementary, middle & high school education in DFW and the US! We have three TVS children, two graduates and one current student, who's lives are forever changed by their experience at TVS. From the world-class teachers, small class size, depth of subject matter, contagious atmosphere of excellence, continuous emphasis on extra-curricular activities to include very competitive athletic programs, TVS offers the most well-rounded education in DFW and I would venture to say our country. When a TVS student steps on a college campus for the first time they are light years ahead of their peers! TVS has been and continues to be a huge blessing to our family!... Read 73 reviews

Junior: I love the wide range of opportunities available here; the district is always coming up with new ways to help every student here have a successful future, and they are never afraid to invest in anything that they feel might enhance the students' education and high school experience. A change, however, that I would love to see is an increase in diversity. Students from nearby school districts often call us as the "rich white kid school," but being from a low-income family and from a minority racial group, I know this is not true. The only reason for this Barbers Hill stereotype is the fact that the number of rich, white students is so much greater compared to the others who go here. An increase in diversity would make Barbers Hill one step greater than it already is.... Read 310 reviews

Parent: Our family made the switch from a large public school to BACS over 8 years ago. I was a little unsure about the change, but it is hands down the best decision our family has made! The faculty and staff is loving and caring, and has high expectations for their students. The Athletic programs are excellent, and the Fine Arts Programs have won superior ratings at most of their contests and festivals, and have recently upgraded and renovated their space. In addition, classes like Digital Media provide hands on, real world design experience for students who are interested. True Christ centered, biblical education is promoted here, as well as high academic rigor. There is something for everyone At BACS!... Read 55 reviews

Niche User: I went to the Anahuac Independent School District from pre-K all the way until I graduated and I wouldn’t have picked a different school! Every teacher of mine, even if we didn’t get along as well as other students, always had my best interest at heart - especially since it is a very small school. The graduating class of 2017, of which I was in, was 83 students and the graduating class of 2018 is about 100 students. This school being so small allows for excellent student-to-teacher ratios and a certain bond with the faculty and your classmates that you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Every year in high school, we got foreign exchange students from Italy, Spain, and even China! Even though we were small, we were about as cultured as you could be in such a small school. Honest rating 9/10. GO PANTHERS!!!... Read 77 reviews

Senior: Ball High was a good school in preparing my for post-secondary education. There are definitely clubs and organizations to keep students busy and there are a lot of mental health, financial, and health resources that students and families can benefit from. The school has a lot of diversity and has an overall tolerable environment. You can definitely thrive academically if you put in the effort and use the resources provided. The school needs to invest more money in the food provided to students as well as the facility as a whole. I wish students had more access to the courtyard, outdoors, and quiet study places besides the library. There are definitely teachers that need to be removed or reevaluated for teaching and the admiration should pay closer attention to student concerns across the school rather then prioritize the opinion of students that do well in school.... Parent: Fantastic school!!! We started with one child and now we have two at The Saint Constantine School. Our children, currently in the 3rd and 5th grade, learn so many things that I didn't learn until college. TSCS uses time tested methods of teaching fundamentals of math, grammar, reading, spelling, penmanship, etc. and I've been impressed with the growth of my children spiritually and academically. The readings and discussions that the kids are involved in and talk about at home have opened my eyes to what classical education should look like. At TSCS Lower school, there is also a huge emphasis on letting kids play outside. After our initial shadow visit my son said "I love it dad, they had 5 recesses". I think that's super healthy for kids, especially prepubescent boys with ants in the pants. The athletic offerings are limited as the school is relatively new but there are plans for an athletic complex across the street. Overall love the school and would recommend it to anyone!!!...
