Senior: This high school is very inviting. Since the school only has about 400 students, the students and staff are all very connected. Almost all students attend events put on by the school including sporting events and school dances making our school pride through the roof. The strong connection between all of our students is the main reason why I love North Tahoe High. All of our teachers and staff are also very committed to making the learning environment as fun and exciting as possible. Different clubs and sports are what bring faculty and students close together. They are also very experienced and help all students excel. Teachers that teach advanced placement classes are also very informative when helping us prep for the test. The rate at which our students pass AP exams is fairly high and that is all thanks to our amazing staff. North Tahoe High school is a wonderful school to attend.... Read 36 reviews

Parent: Tahoe Expedition Academy is an amazing school! Students learn by doing real world projects, learning from experts and exploring the world around them. The curriculum is built around unifying themes that ties academic subjects to a central theme that brings their studies to life. As they go from PreK all the way up to High School, the projects they complete become ever more sophisticated and the adventures they go on further afield. In elementary school, they may study local stream ecology or the variety of trees in the Tahoe area. Whereas kids in the high school design their own adventures their senior year which may take them abroad. Example of trips designed and planned by the students include a trip to Iceland to study geothermal energy and Greece to help Syrian refugee children.
