Parent: RMA has exceeded our expectations on every level. We were nervous about the boarding school experience and after meeting faculty, staff and students at the Open House we felt very optimistic. The atmosphere and the expectations regarding character, honor, service, academics, and leadership create an environment of success. The small classes, the afternoon tutorials, and the learning lab option allow all students to stay caught up. There are incentives for solid academics and strong peer relationships. The mentoring has been a huge support for my son and our family, and I love that the students have so many adult role models. My son was able to take very interesting and challenging courses without teachers "teaching to the test" for SOLS. He also got involved in the Drill team which encourages practice, practice,practice, preparation and self discipline. He has benefited from chapel and went on an optional winter break mission trip. We could not be happier with this school!
