Senior: Park City High School is located in a ski town in the Wasatch Mountain Range of Utah. Being able to live and learn in a ski town has been incredible. Some of the students don't take advantage of the outdoors, but I'm outside nearly every day, which helps to find balance between school and life. The school offers a large variety of classes, electives and extra-curricular activities. There is truly something for every type of student! One thing I would like to see change is going back to the regular grading scale using letter grades (ie: A, B+, B-, etc) instead of using the 1-4 scale which is confusing to students and parents alike. Parent: Our daughter attended ICS for pre-K last year and is now in Kindergarten - I never leave reviews but I am so proud to be a part of this community for my children's education (we have 4 kids!). To give you an idea of what makes ICS special beyond great academics and small class sizes (for kindergarten): weekly Spanish classes, twice a month STEM lab, weekly library and music classes, chapel, ballet lessons after school, and field trips! Our teachers are great at communicating and welcome parent involvement - they are transparent, honest, and genuine. Lastly, Christian values are woven throughout our child's whole day, not just one class or weekly service. They are learning about God in math, during reading, and music, and all the time! Alum: The Winter Sports School was a great experience to have gone through high school. The schools academic calendar runs through the summer giving competitive winter athletes the winter off to compete and excel in their sport. Middle School Student: Small school and pretty good teachers. I overall had a good experience. Some teachers were better than others. Alum: I like that a lot of the courses were very self directed. I generally work well when given the freedom to go at my own pace. I would like to note that many of the classes are online, and if you cannot be self-motivated than this is not the school for you. Some of the teachers were great some of them were mildly annoying, just as most schools go. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and am glad I went there instead of somewhere else.... Read 4 reviews

Niche User: Treasure Mountain is a great school! The teachers are awesome! They care about their students and make sure they're doing well in grades. My kids have had a great year here and have had no problem with bullying. The school may be a little too crowded but that doesn't mean it's a bad school. I would recommend your kids to go here.... Parent: Thank you so much for creating such an amazing school. It has been an honor to have our children attend this school. A good school has an involved staff working together, pushing themselves and their students to be the best. Failure is not an option for the teacher or the students. This school was a true blessing for my three children. Derek did not enjoy reading books before coming to Carden Memorial School. Thank you for giving him the tools he needed to read well. Sandra has improved her writing skills and loves coming to school each day. Anne enjoyed preschool. She would sing all the songs at home and is now sounding out simple words. Parent: Having our children attend the Elizabeth Academy was one of the greatest blessings that ever could have happened to our entire family. It allowed our children’s gifts and talents to be explored and magnified, their weaknesses to be strengthened, and their differences to be celebrated. We have since moved away and our children no longer attend.
