Parent: Pleased with experience . Teachers are great and my children love learning. Big emphasis placed on reading and social development. Love it that children get so much exercise/pe time -- especially good for young boys. Found administration and teachers to be very responsive and always available; communication is also excellent. One huge perk is the "afters" program that they have every day -- for a small fee, your kids can explore their personal and academic passions (or be exposed to them for the first time). One criticism is that I wish they began foreign language exposure earlier and did more for those children who are already bilingual.

We toured all the schools in Greenwich and chose to live in this district. Found Riverside and OG to be too elitist for my taste.

Parent: As we were interviewing and previewing schools, we notice that the students attitudes and moral compass's were in the right place. Always polite and happy, as we looked closer and met the teachers and staff we could see why. All were astute, friendly and accessible and happy themselves to be part of Trinity Catholic, that was very inspirational in itself, happy staff, happy students. The coaches showed leadership and the school had spirit. Our boys felt comfortable in the this setting and that of course was important to us.

Senior: I transferred to Westhill High as a junior and at first, the transition was slightly rocky because I am naturally a very introverted person, but the people are very welcoming and outgoing. The school is very diverse which was something that I appreciated and embraced as a minority of a diverse background. My friends come from all walks of life and have different stories to tell. Compared to its counterpart, Stamford High School, Westhill is in a league of its own and I can say that I am enjoying my brief last year there!

Works Here: I'm proud of the caring and intelligent students & staff at SHS. SHS has 22 AP courses and has more Early College Experience UCONN courses than any other school in the state. The school is introducing a college dual enrollment program fall 2017 and and international baccalaureate diploma program in fall 2018. The Round Table is an award winning online publication that everyone wants to be a part of. Volleyball, hockey and basketball have won state championships in last 2 years. SPS teacher of the year is from SHS and band played at West Point and Citi Field (Mets) last year! The students and staff have raised over 40k for charity over the last 4 years through the annual Pink Out event. The school is being continually upgraded and repaired and the school culture and climate is positive; SHS is a wonderful place to be!

Senior: I entered J.M Wright tech as a freshman and then I left due to location change, now that I am back for my senior year I can honestly say that I completely regret leaving. J. M Wright tech is an amazing school that gives their students amazing opportunities. The teachers at the school are fantastic, they care about your opinions no matter what they are, they let you have that voice that many kids don’t get to have. The teachers make the kids actually care about their grades and want to better themselves, and I know that there are not that many schools that can say that their teachers actually care about the kids and if they succeed but at J.M Wright tech I can say that every single teacher and any other staff member cares a great deal for every single student that walks through the halls. I love the fact that the school has so many different ethnic groups from white to black to Hispanic to Asian to even mixed and biracial they have it all.

Parent: Love this school. Since leaving elementary school my child now enjoys going to school. Her grades have improved tremendously and she is just all around a happier child. The teachers are great and if a parent needs to speak to a teacger the school makes it very easy to access a line of communication with the teacher. They also have many systems and apps in place for parents to see what their child is doing during the day and how they are doing scholasticly. As a parent i am much happier and my child is much happier.

Alum: The school's teachers and facilities are superior to those anywhere else in the district. The only thing lacking is the opportunities for athletes. They also don't offer many after school programs, but the ones they do have are diverse. Anyone can find a home in Scofield.

Senior: There wasn’t another school I wanted to go and I was excited to come here, but this school is definitely not perfect. My biggest complaints are with administration and teachers. The administration here is laughable. They don’t do much and everyone knows it. I wish they cared more and were better at there jobs but it doesn’t seem like they’ll be changing anytime soon. Also, some of the teachers here are laughable as well. Some are creepy, have had multiple strikes on their file for various concerning reasons, don’t know how to teach, or just generally don’t like kids. Despite that, there are a couple of teachers who are really passionate about their job and make learning fun! All in all, I’m still glad I went here but there were things I would change.
