Alum: Glenwood is a great school academically. The teachers here really strive to see their students succeed. The school offers many opportunities for student creativity, as well as offers many elective credit options. However, I believe that the mental health resources from the school could use some improvement. Often times, if a student meets with a counselor, the problem is not addressed, but rather the student is given a temporary solution. With the importance of mental health growing in interest, I think the school should really consider taking action to improve these services. On another note, the theater and music groups at the school are great! Our show choir is award winning and the band is wonderful. I would recommend this school.... Read 293 reviews

Senior: I overall feel Springfield High was a very supportive and inclusive community. The experiences themselves are enjoyable and fun, but you actually have to involve yourself to enjoy them. Join a sport! A club! Go to football games! I've been on the dance team which has given me not only friends beyond my class but an insight into my teammates experiences as well. I've helped student council decorate for Homecoming, etc etc. Participating in these activitives have opened me out of my introverted shell and given me more leadership qualities. Afterall, I am now dance team captain and Vice President of our SHS National Honor Society. Academics wise, I'm happy with the courses we have access to. Majority of my AP teachers give us plenty of study material and are engaged in our learning rather than just playing videos in class. Senior: I have gone to Rochester High School since I was in kindergarten. My four older sisters before me also all went here along with my grandpa and dad. This school has prepared me for my future in college academically. They offer many college-level classes directly through the school and where students go to Lincoln Land Community College and take classes. The teachers are great at getting students excited about classes and learning. The athletics all around are good. This school is very competitive and pushes to be the best while keeping in mind the students and their academics. The fine arts program is also fantastic with a great choir, band, madrigals, and spring musical. Senior: Going to a private catholic school when you're raised in the public school system is a drastic change, but the teachers and resources here were very amazing! me and many other people of color students brought change to a school that wasn't used to diversity. i had a great experience because this gave me the opportunity to voice my opinion and speak up for myself. the administration here are very helpful and encouraging, other teachers won't care about your personal problems, but instead these teachers will reach out to you when they notice you aren't doing so good, that is why i love Sacred heart griffin.... Senior: The education the school tries to push is great, but select teachers either fail to reach their own potential with the material. Most of the teachers I have learned with were excellent however! The "select" teachers are from my classmates that have had them, which I have not. My peers at Williamsville High School ranged from everywhere in terms of politics, backgrounds, and extra curricular activities, but the school was lacking in ethnic diversity. The school cannot control that, but this causes some of the other students to have some very backwards and regressive opinions. Many teachers attempt to combat this, but the higher staff did not involve themselves much with that. I believe my education at Williamsville is not comparable to any other school, as I learned from two sides of every spectrum that I could with the diverse set of teachers and students.... Parent: Lutheran High is a wonderful school. The teachers really work to get to know each of their students on an individual level. Senior: I've been in the Riverton District for the majority of my education, we aren't the richest, smartest, or most accomplished, but here I've grown way more than I would anywhere else. Being a Riverton Hawk has allowed me the opportunity to prosper ahead in my college career and has always supported me in expanding my education. Riverton has multiple programs you can enlist in to grow your education and experience with the goal to make you life ready after high school. I have never had any problems reaching out for help, and so many of the teachers are understanding because they just want to see you succeed. I am allowed to be independent and I am trusted to go down my own path, I've been supported in every educational decision and non-educational decisions because we are a hawk family.
