Senior: I like the teachers at Juda, and how involved they are with their students. They go above and beyond to help their students succeed in their studies, and offer many resources that allow them to adequately prepare for college. The student body is small, and makes it easy to get to know and interact with every student, building relationships that will last a lifetime. Overall, Juda High School does a great job of preparing students for the next chapter of their lives, in an environment that promotes learning...Read 10 Reviews

Parent: We applied to St. Catherine’s for our two elementary-school aged daughters during the 2020-2021 COVID school year. Despite an all-virtual admission process due to COVID, the robustness of the various programs St. Catherine’s offered gave us a great feel for the school and provided a high level of confidence that St. Catherine’s was the right school for our daughters. So far, St. Catherine’s has exceeded our expectations every step of the way. The transition to a new school has been very easy for our daughters – the students, teachers, staff, and families have all been fantastic and very welcoming – and our daughters are excited to go to school each day. The academic curriculum is excellent; our girls are being challenged and we can see them learning and growing as people. On multiple occasions since starting at St. Catherine’s we’ve had that feeling that we made the right decision, and that’s a good feeling to have!...Read 133 Reviews

Senior: Durand High School is a great small school that is surrounded by a great community. There are pros and cons just like any other school, but what makes our school stand out is the friendly people and good academics. We offer many different classes, including AP classes, which help you get ready for college. I think that Durand High School is a great school for kids who want to be surrounded by lifetime friends. Even though we offer many different classes I believe that we should offer more of a variety of classes. I think that we need to step up our game with opportunities. We need to get more involved in helping students to reach their goals and maximum potential. I think that our school needs to strive even harder than we do so that students will be fully ready to go on to college or even into trades/Union. Overall I would say that Durand High School is a great school for students to attend. They will seek good academics, teachers,d and even friends...Read 30 Reviews

Senior: There is a wide selection of different classes available, and an amazing guidance counsellor to help students select the right classes for their future. As Brodhead is a very small town, diversity is very lacking. We don't have many clubs, but the band is very active. I feel as if the science classes prepare students for college better than the english classes do, as the english program is lenient. Safety wise, the school locks all of the doors during school hours, and the only way in is through an intercom call to the office. The campus is very nice, but the food is lacking. The science classes don't have much of a budget...Read 53 Reviews

Senior: Orangeville is a great school for small town people. It is a very warm community and with the average class size being 25-30 you really get to know every one. Also, with that few students in each class you get individual attention. But, there aren't many classes to take outside of requirements and extracurriculars are limited...Read 16 Reviews

Senior: I had the privilege of being in the school district of Waukesha from 5th through 12 grade. Being a transfer student in elementary school gave me a unique perspective of compare and contrast. I was blessed with hardworking educators and other adults who helped me find success. ...The only thing that was a bit of a struggle is it was clear where the under-resourced schools were, and my friends in those schools didn't get the same opportunities as other students in the district but from wealthier schools. They should tackle that issue because a one size fits all approach doesn't seem to work. Overall I love my school district and had a great experience. WAUKESHA STRONG...Read 217 Reviews

Parent: As a teacher who has taught 12 years in a public school setting, I would have never imagined choosing private school for my sons. After a tough year in kindergarten, my oldest son struggled and didn’t show much academic progress due to large class size. After much thought, I realized that a smaller class size is what he needed to cultivate the best learning environment...After researching all the available private schools here in Southern Frederick County, I was dismayed by the few options nearby. After thoughtful consideration, Barnesville fulfilled all of my expectations as a teacher parent. It provided small class sizes, a great amount of time spent outside, many cross-curricular learning opportunities, and a strong community. The teachers are extra caring and it was evident during our time distance learning. If you are looking for a school that offers meaningful relationships where your child is given many opportunities to grow and learn, Barnesville is for you!...Read 12 Reviews
