Alum: Coming from a public school background as an unwilling student, Cornerstone Prep drastically changed me for the better. Challenging educational curriculums and unmatched college prep programs taught me how to learn well, as well as how to think critically about a number of topics. The teachers here, if you put at least the bare minimum of effort into being a good student, are phenomenal. Now that I’ve graduated, I can confidently say that many teachers have become friends of mine, have shaped me, and helped me grow into maturity. Bible classes here are eye-opening, providing an unbiased deep dive into the scriptures with a focus on discipleship and critical thinking. Electives such as Apologetics and Biblical Greek bolster this Christian focus further, accompanied by weekly chapels and daily times of prayer. Financial aid is beyond generous, and has allowed myself and my siblings to attend for years at a low cost. To any parents or students considering Cornerstone, you won’t regret it.... Sophomore: I have attended Hillcrest Christian Academy since my sixth grade year and plan to continue throughout my high school years. The school is equipped with plenty of classrooms and space for students; the facility is beautiful. The high school has recently added classes from Geneva College that eleventh and twelfth grade students can take to receive college credit, wonderfully equipping students for a bright future. The teachers are kind, caring, personal, engaging, and a positive influence on the students at Hillcrest. The school provides a Christian environment that provides a positive experience for children and teenagers as they go through school. Niche User: My experience here at Propel is okay. I do still go to propel and I have some issue's here and there but there are lots of nice kids and I'm friends with most of the whole upper and bottom floor. But my learning there at Propel Homestead is amazing and I have all good grades and I always get an award cause I have good behavior. Parent: Both of my daughters have gone to Jubilee. My older one did K-3rd in public school and she Hated school and was struggling academically. We transferred her to Jubilee for 4th-6th grade and she now Loves learning and has overcome her reading struggles. She graduated from Jubilee with honors. The small class sizes allow the teachers to help each student on an individual level and they make learning Fun for students! I also appreciated the emotional and spiritual support the teachers and staff gave to my daughters throughout the years. It has been a blessing to have a place to send my kids where they can grow in their faith and academics. We have also loved their hands on learning approach and the monthly field experiences are Awesome and add so much to the curriculum. I cannot say enough good things about this school. Parent: This school has been a fantastic experience from kindergarten through 8th grade. Everyone has been so kind, teachers are very responsive & the students truly care about each other. Zero tolerance for bullying. Curriculum is very challenging. The 7th/8th grade math teacher is the best & most challenging math teacher I’ve ever come across. My son took the high school placement test and scored in the top 5% nationally. If you can get through math at this school and say you weren’t prepared for high school, per a previous review, then you must have cheated your way through. The math teacher provides statistics at curriculum night and a very high number of his students test into honors math in high school, not just the kids in the advanced math class but about half of the kids in the regular math class as well. Yes there are rules and yes they are strict, but nothing more than what you will deal with when you enter your career, they prepare you for real life!... Read 4 reviews

Niche User: I attended this school throughout first grade and kindergarten. My brother and I were the only African American children. Despite color, we were showed so much kindness and love. They took us in with open arms. Everyone assisted each other. The teachers did not let any student struggle. no one was left behind. They made connections with each of us to make sure we could talk to them if we needed help. It was rare for someone to not pass on to the grade. They kept the students very active and involved in activities. Also to prevent bullying, we all wore uniforms. The only thing that is not so great is the tuition since it is a private school....
