Senior: St. Andrews so far has been a fantastic opportunity for me! I learned so much about everything from being a coxswain, playing the trombone, painting, drawing, and making genuine connections with people. St. Andrews helped spark my interest in learning about different cultures and people's stories. I have been able to become more well-rounded and to try new things!...Read 90 Reviews

Alum: Overall, my experience at Smyrna High School was very good! The AP courses offered by the school are directly correlated with what I am learning now in the University of Delaware. The AP classes prepared me for the content and rigor that I am currently experiencing in college. The school environment is average for those who are transferring as a new student. The majority of the students here already formed their group of friends due to going to the Smyrna school district for several years, so it can be a bit hard for new students. School has many many resources for those who want to focus on education, but not as much in STEM. Overall I had a good experience!...Read 276 Reviews

Parent: SAES is an ABSOLUTELY amazing school. My grandson has been here since PK. He has flourished. SAES nurtures and provides a solid learning foundation for all of the students in their charge. This year 2020 we added Covid as part of the curriculum the head master and his staff have gone beyond the state's and CDC's guidelines to make our school, student's, and faculty safe. We came together as a community and built outdoor classroom. We perfected contactless drop off and pick-up, and Supreme virtual learning for those that wanted to opt out for in-person learning. Our kids her at StAnnes have been in school with minimal incident. Which speaks volumes. What I am saying is if you are looking for a top notch, caring environment, with un-matched education. Stannes is your school...Read 12 Reviews

Middle School Student: In terms of preparing students for the future, I'd say that Holy Cross is good in that aspect. I am currently as of writing this in my last year of learning at this school from 3rd grade to 8th. All of the education and things we learn are majority of the time taught properly and well. Where the school misses is the food. As of current the menu has been changed and majority if not all of my other peers dislike the current menu. Many of the teachers are hit or miss for the most part...Read 4 Reviews

Senior: My experience at Capitol Baptist has been one that has made me who I am today. This school has helped me tremendously in my spiritual life as well as in my academics. I loved the one on one time with the teachers and the effort and time they put into each and every student. I received many opportunities which I would have never gotten if I did not attend this school. I would recommend Capitol Baptist School to anyone. It's one of the best around...Read 1 Review

Parent: Both of our kids started at The New School in ninth grade, after eight years of public school. It was one of the best parenting decisions we've ever made. Everything about this school is terrific. The teachers are passionate, inspired, and inspiring. Small, topics-driven, seminar-style classes foster creativity and independent thinking, while the welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel at home. Our two kids turned out to be very different kinds of learners, but both thrived at The New School. Our youngest graduates next year, and we'll be sad to think of not having that day-to-day connection. Can't say enough about this wonderful school!...Read 26 Reviews

Parent: My daughter began attending St. Bernadette School in the 7th Grade following our move to Northern Virginia. We couldn't be more pleased with her experience. The teachers, staff, student and parents are dedicated, kind, and caring. They helped her transition to a rigorous Catholic education, including first-time instruction in religion, grammar, cursive, and Spanish. The school is part of a vibrant parish; the priests are about campus and in the classroom. St. Bernadette School is Catholic education at its best!...Read 34 Reviews
