Junior: My experience at the Academy of the Holy Cross is, that I came as a transfer into my junior year. The Academy was very welcoming, and though it was my first year I felt that after a few months I had already known everybody. The teachers are kind and outgoing, especially the social studies department! Now, the sports are also quite good, everyone on the teams are not only experienced, but determined to be the best. Also, the volleyball team is one of the best I’ve ever seen, and the coaches are really one of a kind! Now, the music and arts, there are many options and opportunities, and honor societies that are related to not only other departments, but the arts departments as well, that are welcome for everyone to join! Also, I would recommend taking a dance class, the dance teacher is one of the best teachers there, regardless if you don’t take one of her classes, like I don’t. Moreover, administration is great, some of the most nicest and reliable people at the Academy are there.... Read 183 reviews

Senior: The faculty at Silver Stage High School were always engaging and interested in my well-being and future. The teachers would specifically go out of their way to offer ways to improve my grade and direct me towards college. I especially enjoyed how they would not enforce college to those more interested in directly entering the workforce (does not include myself). I was always very interested in college and my relationship with the teachers allowed them to assist me in beneficial ways. I would improve the school spirit though. For sports we had earned a banner and went to state, but this was not seen as an achievement. A couple seasons later and the banner has still not been put up in our gym for students and parents to see. This would be the only change I would appreciate to see.... Read 139 reviews

Alum: I am a high school graduate and I graduated from Smith Valley High. I loved it there. The classes are small, but also not too small. Senior: Fernley High is full of an attentive staff that truly cares about their students. The teachers do their best to educate students and prepare them for the outside world. Multiple staff members have made a positive impact on my life as they encouraged me to challenge myself in my learning. The extracurriculars are strongly supported and make for a spirited environment. The community rallies behind our school, which makes it an even better place to learn and live. An issue the school faces is adapting to the growth of our community and the surplus of students. The halls and classes are overcrowded, but the school is making the best of it. Plans for renovation are in place, and I am excited to see how Fernley High improves.... Read 216 reviews

Freshman: Prep is an amazing school and gives an educational, athletic, and social experience of a lifetime. It is very challenging but all the teachers are there for you and the school gives you so many resources to succeed. The reason I did not give it 5/5 stars is for two reason : a mediocre science department and the fact that it is all-boys. Not having girls around is pretty rough. The school has an amazing buffet-style lunch and we have champ titles in almost all of our sports. Our dorms need improvement, but at the moment we are building a new boarding facility!... Alum: I attended The Williams School (TWS) in Ghent from second to eighth grade. It is without a doubt the most special and most rewarding educational experience I have had throughout my academic career which, to date, spans an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree. Small class sizes foster deep, long-lasting connections with peers, teachers, and other faculty and stimulate creative learning across the board. Faculty at TWS truly go above and beyond for each student and work tirelessly to make sure each student's individual needs are met. Their dedication builds a level of trust in other and in self that further empowers students to be proactive not only in their education, but also in their personal and social development. TWS provides extracurricular opportunities during a pivotal developmental period that, at larger schools, students may frankly not have the opportunity to fully experience (athletics, forensics, music); students are completely immersed. Truly a magnificent school!... Read 9 reviews
