Parent: I can't believe the incredible transformation my daughter has made in her first year at Kent Denver. Her 6th grade experience continued her positive academic trajectory, in tandem with developing communication and social-emotional skills. It has been amazing to watch her build her confidence, both inside and outside of the classroom. Socially, she found friends quickly and easily (she did not know many other students), and academically, was encouraged to find her voice and self-advocate for herself. Freshman: CA is an incredible school with incredible people. Their balance of different curriculums through different teachers while still feeling unified is amazing, plus the freedoms that are granted through the different options you have to choose from are great. Parent: My twin daughters have attended St. Mary's Academy since kindergarten and are now seniors in the high school. I can't say enough great things about the school! The small class sizes, nurturing environment, academics, and feeling of community is unparalleled. All the teachers have been absolutely incredible and know my kids so well. They serve as incredible mentors for the students and truly take an interest in their well-being. My daughters have developed into confident, assertive, curious and kind young adults as a result of their SMA experience. They are very well prepared for college. Unlike many high schools, the SMA high school has very little social drama and the friendships my daughters have made will undoubtedly be lifelong. Senior: The teachers at Dsst: Byers High School become close friends/family. I love that my teachers cared for each and one of my classmates, and took the time to know us personally. This type of relationship is great, since it makes it easier to ask for help and better advocate for yourself. To add on, there are many options for classes to take in order for each student to be challenged at a reasonable level. There are many activities and extracurriculars to join, and even opportunities to start your own club! Here at Byers inclusivity and respect are highly encouraged, there are many affinity/cultural clubs open to the whole student body. Junior: Valor Christian High School is a private school. Valor is a smaller school, with the average class size of approximately 250-300 students. Valor has a very strong music, drama, dance and arts programs within its conservatory. Valor also offers a strong Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) and college preparatory classes. Sophomore: DJDSis the most amazing school, home, family, and community. Going to this school has allowed me to flourish in ways that could never be replicated anywhere else. Secularly, the teachers are so invested in my learning and will always find a time to meet with me to go over stuff and genuinely want me to succeed. In regards to the Judaic program, It has allowed me to discover God and spirituality, without ever telling me what I should believe. The classesmerely push you to challenge your own beliefs and think deeply about the subject so every student can benifit.Most importantly, DJDS has given me my second family I can walk down the hallway everyday and be surrounded by people I can count on. DJDS transformed me from a timid 6th grader who was nervous to ask a teacher to fix my grade. Senior: English teachers are not great here, assuming you go on the honors science track, the teachers are great. After learning from others and you're preferred learning style, taking classes for the teachers makes your schedule a whole lot more fun, when you get the chance. Boys tennis is amazing! Almost impossible to go wrong in the social studies department. The distinction between honors or ap classes and cp classes also allows for one to basically choose how much work is expected of them. Parent: As a mom of 4 kids, I couldn't be more pleased with Front Range Christian School! We have experienced preschool through high school here and it's been an extremely positive experience. The teachers here make all the difference. I have complete confidence in the administration and school board as they look to Christ to lead them in leading the school. Parent: How rare & wonderful to find a school that perfectly suits both of our children - as different as they are! Senior: Denver School of Innovation and Sustainable Design changed my life, for the good. It provided me with a multitude of resources that helped me prepare for college. I graduated with three college credits; more than most students I know who went to a traditional high school. The teachers build relationships with every student that walks in their classroom. I enjoyed every single one of my classes. Although the school doesn’t provide many extracurricular activities it makes up for it by having such an amazing environment. Senior: DSST: College View High School is a school located in Denver, Colorado next to Loretto Heights. Our school building is also shared by the middle school, which is convenient for the majority of students. Although parking is scarce and our cafeteria is a few walking distances away from our main building, our school has overall shown dedication towards college success by administering organized internship and senior project classes that are college requirements. On top of this, our school is ranked as having the most FAFSA filled applications in our network, the most diverse amount of clubs in our network, and many applications submitted for the seal of biliteracy. Many staff members I met, have said that this school has a perfect and healthy environment that all students can strive in. Niche User: Our family's experience with Ruby Hill has been nothing short of wonderful. We have been with Strive Prep since they opened the Ruby Hill campus, and are so glad we were able to enroll here. The teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Parent: RMSEL is an incredible school. We have had kids in the school for a decade and they are all thriving. Being a smaller school there are fewer clubs/activities than at larger schools, and the sports programs are limited, yet they still have options. I'd like to see a better music program with continuity in the teaching as well as a greater emphasis on arts as creativity is the foundation of problem solving. The expeditionary, real–life learning environment is second–to–none and my kids are learning valuable skills that go way beyond the classroom. I highly recommend RMSEL. Administration and leadership are always working toward a better environment and experience for the students.
