Alum: I came to FCDS in Jr. Pre-K which means I have spent 14 years at this school. The teachers are great and they really do care about providing quality education as well as being there for students in a more personal capacity. The overall educational experience has been very good and I feel that attending FCDS has adequately prepared me for college. I do feel, however that FCDS lacks in terms of preparing students for real life and the workforce. FCDS provides little health, personal finance, and other real world classes. FCDS also lacks in its sustainability. The cafeteria still uses plastic utensils and our water fountains are abysmal, which leads to many students buying bottled water. Elliot Sullivan... Senior: Early college is like no other traditional high school or magnet school it’s in its own category Early college is the best decision I could’ve made. Going into early college all the upperclassman were always nice and always wanted to help you navigate around the school. The classrooms are small and the teachers are all so amazing they know how to teach and they also care about you a lot. Overall, my early college experience has been amazing I’ve learned so much and I’m going to graduate with an associates degree I don’t know why a lot of students don’t even apply to it they should it’s the best!... Parent: Calvary Day School was a wonderful school for all three of my children. The academics prepared them well for their next steps and for college. My son received a significant academic scholarship from Baylor University where he has thrived. The Christian atmosphere of love, respect and an expectation of excellence supported our parenting approach during their teenage years. I believe we had more peace in our home from them being in a school full of light during their Middle School years. Calvary Day School played an integral part in the success of our children during their teenage years. This foundation is currently serving them well in college as they make good choices to live a life of significance. I highly recommend Calvary Day School!... Read 107 reviews

Parent: I have two children at ACA. It is not a perfect school filled with perfect people, nor does it claim to be. That's actually what we love about it. They are willing to "run to the mess" as the Head of School often says. They have equipped and caring teacher as well as strong extra-curricular programs. In the midst of the pandemic, they've navigated the extreme opinions of community members well. I wouldn't put my children at any other school.... Read 46 reviews

Parent: From the first day we toured the campus we loved that students walked from building to building. It felt like it was a college campus, and time spent outside was a health bonus for students! WFHS makes a great community with more than 30 clubs, societies, sports teams. It was joyful to discover that students can find almost anything. WFHS is creative in many ways, there are always new banners and announcements, decorations for upcoming events and seasonal decor for the school appearances. WFHS is strong in supporting local communities by participating in cleaning events in parks and neighboring areas, pitching in in donations, and volunteering. We feel special pride about the school’s ethics. Teachers work as a team and navigate delicate and challenging social situations, showing most sincere kindness and care, teaching students how to not compromise humanity in lieu of mundane fun and giving direction to those who have lost it. And the academic value of the school speaks for itself!... Read 343 reviews

Senior: I greatly appreciate the opportunity to earn an Associate's Degree while in high school via the Dual Enrollment program offered at the school, with almost no charges. This gives me a greater chance to earn a Bachelor's degree with no debt. The staff is very responsive and willing to help students one on one. There are less than 200 students attending the early college, so it is very personalized and a friendly environment. One of the only drawbacks that I have experienced is that it is sometimes difficult to get in touch with with some of the staff in a timely manner.... Read 53 reviews

Junior: Joining the MCF family in my junior year is the best descion I have ever made. MCF is a small tight-knit family, where both faculty and students strive for a successful future. Numerous academic opportunities are offered! Diversity is very poor but I believe that each individual is different in their ways, which makes up for it. Teachers are very caring and resourceful. School work is not much to stress about. Since MCF is situated in the Forsyth Tech campus, Id say the food is excellent-- especially from The Grill (mouthwatering!)... Read 41 reviews

Alum: Always though the food was okay, the sports were good, and the people friendly. Everyone is rambunctious and excited at football games; pretty hype. The classes offer a wide variety of type from normal, honors, and AP courses. There is a decent array of classes to be able to choose from and various courses for kids who plan on going into a trade school. When you are a senior you also get a chance to go over to the community college for classes that can be transferred over to your college for credit. Overall, good school. Parent: We are new to St. Leo this year and have been extremely pleased with absolutely everything. The teachers are clearly dedicated and qualified—they make our son feel loved and safe, and he is learning at exactly the pace we hoped for. Communications are reliable, timely, and detailed—we never feel in the dark about anything. Leadership is competent and trustworthy—we know that there is a clear vision and plan in place for the growth of all children. Additionally, COVID protocols are strictly enforced, meaning that staff and children are safe and healthy; and despite social distancing and mask mandates, the creative and passionate staff are making sure kids are still getting a full, well-rounded educational experience. My son loves going to school, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have become part of the St. Leo family.... Read 9 reviews

Parent: My son up till grade 3 was in public. They felt he needed extra help. His grades in the 3rd grade on test were mainly d's. Once he started at TBA his class size was extremely small and could get that one on one attention neededfrom his teacher. His grades went up within 2 semesters. He always thought he was stupid, he said. Now he says he is smart in math and I don't even have to help him. I just look over it, just to make sure he did all his homework. In the 5th grade he got an achievement award for having highest grade point average in his grade. That day was the most important day he had ever. Now all we see are basically A's and 1B....
