Senior: Great private college prep school for students. Their goal is to graduate students who aspire in excellence and who are motivated to leadership, service, and civic responsibility; who are independent thinkers informed and enriched by a challenging curriculum; who are appreciators of the visual and performing arts and the spirit of competition; who are lifelong learners adaptable to new information and technologies; and who are individuals who strive to develop the spiritual, intellectual, civic, emotional and physical dimension of their lives. St. Patrick Catholic High School is a coeducational college-preparatory, private high school therefore the classes are smaller for more one on one learning. St. Patrick is a diverse community of learners committed to Gospel values as taught by Jesus Christ and to academic excellence. What better way to go to school.... Read 72 reviews

Niche User: D'Iberville Elementary is diamond in the ruff. It does not receive the recognition it deserves. The administration, teachers and support staff are all committed to helping every student be successful. The students are happy and loved! The teachers are happy and are always looking for ways to engage their students. I would recommend this school to anyone.... Read 7 reviews

Alum: As a child of international parents moved from school to school, I found Oneness-Family School to be a warm, caring community, where I could explore my passions and interests, engage with my peers on creative projects, learn at my own pace, and enjoy a range of activities, including art, music, yoga, camping, and especially musical theater! At Oneness-Family School, social and emotional learning is taught alongside a challenging academic curriculum. I so much value the "soft skills" and values I learned there. Additionally, I felt heard, cared for and respected by all my teachers, and am still in touch with many today!... Read 16 reviews

Freshman: D'Iberville Middle School is a great school! Even if the academics may not seem to be the best, many bright students have recently started high school from this school, myself included! Had it not been for most of my old teachers, I probably wouldn't be doing as great as I am in school right now. The teachers are awesome and many are extremely helpful, minus a few of the bad seeds. Hopefully the next few generations will be able to put this school on the map and on top!... Read 7 reviews

Alum: My overall experience at West Harrison High School was very good. While attending there, I had the privilege of being a part of the Band and just being a part of that band brought me great opportunities and allowed me to make lifelong friendships. I also was involved in many clubs which also greatly helped my future as I got the chance to experience community service and got to help tutor kids in the school.... Read 175 reviews

Senior: My high school experience has been pretty normal. I gave little effort but was still in band and made many friends who motivate me and got me to where i am. They improved my school and musical work. I never stressed about anything but marching band. We struggled to put out music on the field but eventually we kept working at and and achieved all superior. this gave my life real meaning and what real achievement is. So im the end I stayed in band all of my high school life. And through all of my hard work, I got the John Phillip Sousa Award. Given to the senior with the best music talent. Although I’m not going into music for my career, I can always have a fun hobby and something i can look back into... Read 216 reviews

Parent: Both of my kids attended and graduated from Christian Collegiate. The staff and administration genuinely care about the students and their families. They academic standards are high and I appreciated my kids being educated from a Christian Worldview. They have good sports and athletic programs that allowed both kids to participate in the same competitive athletics they would have in a public high school. They offer and overall well rounded educational experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at private school.... Read 9 reviews

Parent: My son is autistic and this is his fourth school. Compared to the other three schools, the interventions in place for children requiring individualized education plans are severely lacking. This is also the first school where we pay for school lunch. If we owe ten or more dollars, our son is fed American cheese on white bread. That's extremely frustrating. On the other hand, his educators are wonderful with him. They are lenient when it comes to his nervous pacing, they are on top of it when he needs a sensory break, and any signs of bullying are addressed immediately. I feel comfortable when my son is at school, knowing he is being treated very well. The problems I do have are small and miniscule and don't directly affect his education.... Read 1 review

Senior: Central High School has been part of my daily for four years now. I can truly say it was the best four years of my life. Though I faced challenges and obstacles there was nothing I couldn’t face as a pounder. The administration is amazing and the faculty I could call family rather than teachers. I may have thought at some times how could any of what I was learning be beneficial, but now that I am a senior I can acknowledge that everything I have learned and accomplished will lead me to being a successful college student and an overall good person! If I could change anything about Central it would be to include a social group where students could share their feelings, emotions or express what they are going through. Every student and person has a story and each and every one of us deserve to be there for each other.... Read 160 reviews

Parent: Our daughter attended Orchard House School and is now a senior in high school, preparing to transition to college next fall. OHS was the perfect place for her to learn, grow, and navigate the challenges of adolescence, while gaining a level of confidence that has propelled her throughout the past four years. Alum: I attended The Williams School (TWS) in Ghent from second to eighth grade. It is without a doubt the most special and most rewarding educational experience I have had throughout my academic career which, to date, spans an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree. Small class sizes foster deep, long-lasting connections with peers, teachers, and other faculty and stimulate creative learning across the board. Faculty at TWS truly go above and beyond for each student and work tirelessly to make sure each student's individual needs are met. Their dedication builds a level of trust in other and in self that further empowers students to be proactive not only in their education, but also in their personal and social development. TWS provides extracurricular opportunities during a pivotal developmental period that, at larger schools, students may frankly not have the opportunity to fully experience (athletics, forensics, music); students are completely immersed. Truly a magnificent school!... Read 9 reviews
