Senior: School years in Minooka are surprisingly thrilling due to loads of optional activities you can participate in and outside the school such as painting the school walls, making fun poems for library’s displacement, or just simply walk around the park as a class. Moreover, I do think it has a very healthy studying environment considering how encouraging and friendly the teachers and staffs are. This energy influences the students’ attitudes as well, making it easier to find friends or just start a conversation with someone you don’t know. And one thing I do like in particular is how cohesive all the lessons were, combining them with the positive vibe from the teachers, classes are always enjoyable and fun. I will definitely recommend Minooka High to anyone who wasn’t sure of what school they should attend. No matter what your personality is, you’ll find a place where you belong in there. Isn’t it exciting:]... Read 568 reviews

Senior: What I like best was the different opportunities to take part in performing arts. The music and band programs were great. Yearly plays and musicals in addition to band concerts fed the desire to perform. What I would change would be an addition of more clubs. Expand on interest of the entire student body, not just the more popular groups.... Read 123 reviews

Alum: Parkview Christian Academy is the school from which I have graduated. I attended the school for my two final years of high school and transferring was one of the best decisions of my life. The academics were relatable and relevant to life as well as they prepared me for college. The courses and assignments are designed to make the shock of attending college minimal. The teachers are extremely personal and always seeking the best interest of the students. The student to teacher ratio is very beneficial and help the students to get the most out of their classes. There are many resources and opportunities provided by Parkview. Through the school, I was able to travel to Haiti to serve the orphans and people. That experience has shaped my life and many other of my classmates' as well. Parkview provides an above average education and high school experience for any student that attends.... Read 5 reviews

Parent: The amazing staff and families at Cross have been a tremendous blessing to my family. My children have grown in their faith and are getting closer to loving like Jesus all the time. The children are often paired with different grade levels to create a family feel and give confidence to the younger children. I have seen my children challenged and supported in their academics. The teachers help foster a love of learning and a love for reading. If they struggle with math, we can watch lessons from the teacher at home to help grasp difficult concepts. The amount of time teachers give to help students is amazing. The athletic offerings have given my kids an opportunity to be competitive at high levels while keeping sportsmanship as a top priority. My son loves the band program and my daughter loves building her leadership through Daisys. Overall, I have confidence my kids are developing their faith and character while gaining the academic skills they need to be successful.... Read 1 review

Niche User: I sent my daughter there for the first time last year. She was in Ms. Gina's class for 3 year olds. She had separation anxiety and a hard time letting me leave. Ms. Gina would pick her up and hold her and hug her and play with her until she felt better. I love this school because I sincerely feel that everyone in the program genuinely cares about my child, her education and her well-being. She is now in Mrs. Laurie's 4's class and absolutely loves it. I have two younger children that I plan on sending through their program. My only complaint is that they don't teach grades higher than Kindergarten.... Read 6 reviews

Middle School Student: It is the best school I have ever been to and has opened the gates for me to really be able to learn. I especially like language arts and my teachers truly have a broad understanding of the world and inspire us. I have read books including Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Power of One, Frankenstein, Henry IV, Henry V, Oedipus The King, and many more. I came in 7th grade and I thought I would have a hard time, but that was not the case. The school is so diverse and I have gotten to learn about a bunch of different cultures and it has given me a better understanding. I went to public school before and until I got to this school I did not really know whiten outstanding education was. I feel ready to share my ideas with the world.... Read 9 reviews

Parent: “Our daughters have attended St. Mary of the Angels School for nine years now and we are so thrilled to see them grow and flourish along with this amazing school! The SMA teachers & staff work very closely with their students to best prepare them for acceptance into a competitive high school.
