Parent: I have 2 students in the Middle School at this point in time. I was nervous when I realized that Middle School is from 5th to 8th grade in this school. My concerns were quickly eliminated as I have found everyone to have a sincere interest in the well being of the students. Teachers have actually taken the time to write (via snail mail) to my children to congratulate and/or encourage them on activities and assignments. The culture within the school is excellent, and I believe is a direct reflection of the vision the Principal has for the School. He is passionate about what he does and is a great role model for the students. The TICDA (Today I Can Do Anything) initiative that was put in place last year seems to be paying dividends. This school is preparing students for High School and beyond.... Read 1 review

Alum: Parkview Christian Academy is the school from which I have graduated. I attended the school for my two final years of high school and transferring was one of the best decisions of my life. The academics were relatable and relevant to life as well as they prepared me for college. The courses and assignments are designed to make the shock of attending college minimal. The teachers are extremely personal and always seeking the best interest of the students. The student to teacher ratio is very beneficial and help the students to get the most out of their classes. There are many resources and opportunities provided by Parkview. Through the school, I was able to travel to Haiti to serve the orphans and people. That experience has shaped my life and many other of my classmates' as well. Parkview provides an above average education and high school experience for any student that attends.... Read 5 reviews

Sophomore: I enjoy how much the math department does. I'd like to see changes in the platforms used for online learning currently. I wish there was more review with teachers before course work went out in each department. I really appreciate how much effort goes into planning in the science, math, foreign lang., and english departments. The school theater is very nice but I'd like to see more attention trying to get children involved in the arts. Also, I'd like to see more recognition for those who consistently do well. The only thing I feel like our school needs to do better on is making sure those who always are dong what is expected are recognized. They do a wonderful job at showing those who stepped up their game na dnow try harder but students who have from the begging don't always get what they deserve. With sport I wish there was equal quality and importance because football tends to be what our school looks at and XC, soccer, and other sport don't get publicized very much.... Read 108 reviews

Senior: I quite like my school. Teachers that take an active interest in students' lives aren't a rare occurrence here; I'm positive that if I told all of my teachers that I was doing something exciting over the weekend, they'd all follow up the following Monday to ask me how it went. The classes are good, but I feel that the courses offered are a little lacking. I'd like to have taken more AP classes through the school, but only five are offered. In addition to that, I wish there were more performing arts classes or classes involving music. We only gained a back a choir a few years ago, and without that there was only Band. Students here are becoming less motivated to stay involved, but there's a decent sized group of people trying to keep certain clubs and activities afloat. Even through the pandemic I've enjoyed my time here, and I'll be sad to leave once I graduate.... Read 64 reviews

Senior: Personally, being part of such a tight-knit community has played a major role in my development as a leader in the community and has set me up in a tremendous position to succeed later on in life. Teachers never fail to let students know that if they ever need help somebody will be there to help them. I have created many strong bonds with the faculty and know that if I ever need a recommendation letter, that someone is more than willing to write one. This has allowed me to flourish in the classroom and has given me a direct path into my future. Go Indians!... Read 117 reviews

Parent: The amazing staff and families at Cross have been a tremendous blessing to my family. My children have grown in their faith and are getting closer to loving like Jesus all the time. The children are often paired with different grade levels to create a family feel and give confidence to the younger children. I have seen my children challenged and supported in their academics. The teachers help foster a love of learning and a love for reading. If they struggle with math, we can watch lessons from the teacher at home to help grasp difficult concepts. The amount of time teachers give to help students is amazing. The athletic offerings have given my kids an opportunity to be competitive at high levels while keeping sportsmanship as a top priority. My son loves the band program and my daughter loves building her leadership through Daisys. Overall, I have confidence my kids are developing their faith and character while gaining the academic skills they need to be successful.... Read 1 review

Middle School Student: It is the best school I have ever been to and has opened the gates for me to really be able to learn. I especially like language arts and my teachers truly have a broad understanding of the world and inspire us. I have read books including Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Power of One, Frankenstein, Henry IV, Henry V, Oedipus The King, and many more. I came in 7th grade and I thought I would have a hard time, but that was not the case. The school is so diverse and I have gotten to learn about a bunch of different cultures and it has given me a better understanding. I went to public school before and until I got to this school I did not really know whiten outstanding education was. I feel ready to share my ideas with the world.... Read 9 reviews

Parent: I can't say enough good things about the teachers at St. Anne's-Belfield. My child lost a lot of ground learning virtually in public school during the pandemic. His teachers at St. Anne's have gone the extra mile to catch him up without making him feel bad (or even letting on that he's behind). Really love that he has access to learning resource specialists and the school counselor. Can't speak to athletics as he's more of a CS nerd (and the program is amazing btw!), but I understand they are stellar if that's your kids' thing. As with all private schools, I wish it were more diverse, but the school does a good job being intentional about diversity and inclusion so kids are aware and prepared to interact with people of all backgrounds and cultures, even if they don't see a lot on a daily basis....
