Alum: Recent alum here, fantastic school for academic development. The teachers here are top notch and the relationships they foster with students is extremely unique at the high school level. We were spoiled at Webb and I constantly am reminded of how much I was blessed to attend a school that is so enriching in several areas. By FAR the best school academically in the area, and nothing within a 40 mile radius offers anything better or even remotely close to the quality and personalization of a Webb education. Beautiful campus, quality location, top notch. ...The ONLY negative gripe I have with Webb is the college admissions staff and their deceiving system that is inherently unequal. They claim to use a system based on "fit," but instead cater to a practice reliant upon getting as many seniors into 10% of colleges as they can. Telling seniors to not apply to a certain school by claiming lack of "fit," when in reality, they want to cut down competition and cater to their quota...Read 87 Reviews

Parent: I have two children who have been at LFCSA since transitional kindergarten. They have flourished at this school. Academically they are doing great but most importantly they love going to school! They don't spend hours doing homework and the work they do get home is meaningful so it doesn't feel like a waste of precious family time. I love how they use the arts as a tool to make the curriculum come to life and both my girls have really benefited from this. The school is very diverse and this is one of the reasons I chose it over my local school. The teachers value my children as individuals and give them work that challenges them. The social-emotional curriculum is an important part of this school. Both my girls have grown to be empathetic humans who are wonderful collaborators. I believe this will benefit them even more than just test scores. I love this school, the teachers and the strong, dedicated parent community...Read 17 Reviews

Parent: I had two sons attend Arroyo Pacific Academy (APA). One son had some learning issues; but his teachers took the time and effort to make him feel welcomed and respected. My other son had just finished his freshman year at a larger school in LA; but wasn't too enamored with the commute, so he wanted a school closer to home. He wound up transferring to APA where he, too, was welcomed and nurtured by a caring, compassionate, and very competent staff. ...One might think that because APA is so small, it might not attract great teachers. I can attest that isn't the case at all! As a sophomore, my son just got "5's" on his AP Biology and AP Psychology exams!...The staff, teachers, administration are all top notch. If you have a son or daughter that may have learning issues or would just enjoy a smaller school setting where teaching is truly focused on the student, I would highly recommend you try out Arroyo Pacific Academy...Read 9 Reviews

Alum: My 4 years at Damien was a learning experience. The brotherhood we all shared will last a life time. Our educators are very much involved with the students and they have been a very important part of my growth. My senior year highlight, beside class of 2020, was our Kairos retreat. I learned to know myself better and my brothers too. The school is constantly revolving; therefore, after experiencing virtual learning, I would like to see the school offer more online classes for students. Senior: Over the course of the past four years at Glendora High School, I would say that this school has provided for a substantially positive experience overall. The majority of teachers I have had the privilege of learning from have been understanding, supportive and flexible to individual circumstances. In addition, the school administration has taken the time to make sure that I always felt on course and well informed of new events and deadlines. Potential negatives to note would include the infrequent fights that have occurred as well as some reported incidents of bullying. One thing that I think should be praised about this school is that it has consistently tried to ensure the well being of the students. Some examples over the past year included a wellness room for students to go to if they were overwhelmed in academics and that the school has provided free breakfasts to any student who needed something to eat...Read 488 Reviews

Sophomore: City of Knowledge is pretty great. The classes are considerably small allowing every student to get a proper amount of attention. They really encourage students to get college credit and take AP courses. It is actually very common for students to graduate with at least one year of college credit acquired. Also, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. ...This online learning experience was pretty interesting. I really did appreciate the fact that they made sure that everyone was doing well. If students did not have the necessary materials (ex: devices), they were lent whatever they needed. Although the experience was different and quite difficult, the school did everything possible to make the transition from in-class to online learning smooth...Read 27 Reviews

Senior: I really loved going to Ontario Christian because the school focuses more on a student as a whole, rather than just academics. Ontario Christian encourages their students to pursue their different interests by having flexible coaches, teachers, and staff. The faculty supports multi-sport and activities students by letting students take tests earlier and providing homework early in case students are going to be absence due to sports or other activities. Ontario Christian was a great place for me, especially, because I have many different interests and at a smaller school, I could be involved in multiple activities at one time. I really enjoyed my time there because I felt truly encouraged to pursue all my interests from Yearbook to Tennis (a sport I’ve never played before)!...Read 153 Reviews

Senior: My experience at South Hills has been very good, I would say that my freshmen year was my favorite. Everything was new to me and I loved going to the really good events they put non like the rallies and football games. The main goal for the students at my school is to show what you know and be the best of the best. South Hills has many things to offer, a variety of clubs to join, a student union where students can hang out, and even a wellness center where kids can go when they are having a hard time. Most of the teachers here care about their students and wants what's best for them and this helps a lot when getting motivation to do the work. ASB does such a good job putting together rallies for the students when it comes to homecoming, prom, havoc in the hills etc. In addition, everyone here is very accepting and loves to have a good time so it make the experience of going to school one to remember for the rest of my life and i'm proud nto my a south hills huskie! south hills!...Read 413 Reviews

Senior: St. Lucy’s Priory High School is a beautiful all-girls private school located in Glendora California. The teachers you will find here are passionate about their work and care about their students. The staff works hard to ensure all is running smoothly. In the last few years, the school has taken more steps to become more technologically friendly. Still, the school lacks many resources. Select courses are not yet available at St. Lucy’s (e.x. Computer science), but what is available is covered well in the classes. Tutoring and counseling are readily accessible to anyone who seeks them. Athletics at St. Lucy’s are overall well supported by the school. Certain sports and relatively new programs could use a bit more funding. Clubs are enjoyable, but some need funding. These are all factors I would like to see change...Nevertheless, I liked it here and during my time I enjoyed my science classes, calculus, playing golf, swimming, my friends and podcast club.Read 317 Reviews

Not only are all of the teachers proficient in what they teach, but their classes are engaging and they're genuinely concerned for their students. The faculty, students, and parents alike are considerate and friendly, and I felt extremely safe on campus. The ASB program, which I was heavily involved in, made a large effort to reach out to students, creating truly enjoyable events for everyone to participate in. It made our school much more inclusive.
