Parent: We researched several schools both public and faith based and were curious what offerings the school provided that made the tuition higher than parochial schools. Academy of the Sacred Heart is a giant leap above other schools. The Academy of the Sacred Heart has very high standards of academic achievement as well as high standards of teaching them to grow into generous globally conscious individuals. The school excels in STEM and also in the arts and foreign language. Band starts in third grade! My husband is a public school teacher and noted several textbooks for 6th graders, were the same that 7th graders use in MO public schools. Students are learning a year ahead of the public school system. We are thrilled with the growth & development our children have received. The class sizes are meant to be small with a max of 16 students per class to ensure students are getting the attention to thrive and excel. All the other schools paled in comparison to the Academy of the Sacred Heart.... Read 24 reviews

Niche User: The school does take time in helping a child that does have behavioral issues. They go out of their way to help with that child. They do talk to parents and help them solve the problem. I really appreciate the input I get from the teachers and the other stuff.... Read 1 review

Alum: Top notch faculty and administration, and a great appreciation for global international thinking and performance. The school emphasizes the importance of independent thinking and expression, while still maintaining a strong sense of community. Veritas allowed me to grow into the person I am today. It put me in challenging situations that have benefitted me overall and put me on the path to success. One of my most unique experiences: while at Veritas, I had an opportunity to study abroad at the campus in Beijing. What an experience! I highly recommend my alma mater. #alwaysaspartan... Parent: My son is in third grade at St. Bart's. We moved from an independent Catholic school and the change in his self-confidence was obvious right away. Class size is small, my son has a homeroom teacher and additional teachers for Spanish, Music, PE, library and computer lab. Although we don't need extra help in the classroom, I know resources are available for kids who have different challenges. Extracurriculars are provided through CYO or private companies and include chess, sports, science, robotics. The school body is small and teachers know all the kids by name. Recess is well supervised, and aftercare is fun. Hot lunch is catered and the caterer offers reasonably balanced meals. Uniform is easy, no jacket for the little guys in lower school! We'd love to see more after school activities being offered to the kids.... Read 28 reviews
