Parent: The Hill School is aptly named the family boarding school for good reason. From our first tour, it was clear to us that Hill is more than just a top-notch education. We have two daughters at Hill and could not be more pleased with the faculty, education, after-school activities and warm environment. Hill has been a leader in handling the COVID protocol at boarding schools since the beginning of the pandemic. We highly recommend touring Hill if your child is interested in boarding school...Read 119 Reviews

Senior: Spring-Ford High has a huge variety of classes...dozens of AP offerings, electives in everything from journalism to jewelry making, entrepreneurship to economics. They are also connected to an outstanding vo-tech school. Because of the large numbers of students, there are hundreds of clubs available not to mention sports teams. Senior: When I was younger, school was a source of confidence. I felt like I was good at it and could end the day feeling accomplished. As I got older, that changed. School became frustrating. It began to make me feel badly about myself. This was so discouraging and degrading. I started not wanting to go to school, not wanting to even try. My sophomore year I knew things had to change if I wanted to have a good future and go to a good college. We found Cortona Academy and, honestly, my life changed! Cortona Academy made me feel good about learning again and helped build-up my confidence. They made school less frustrating, making sure I understood something before moving on, making certain I had a strong foundation and could successfully tackle any subject put in my path. Cortona Academy helped bring up my GPA and, most importantly, helped me feel ready for college. I no longer feel discouraged; I no longer feel like I can't. Cortona Academy has shown me that I “can,” no matter what...Read 24 Reviews

Parent: The choice of how & where to school children is one of the major decisions parents must make for their children. As parents of four children, this was a growing concern as our first child was reaching school age. While there were many options available that we explored, we are continually confident that Coventry Christian Schools was the best option for our family. With children now in the secondary and elementary levels, we remain grateful for this school community. Our top three reasons are: strong educational value(classical school model), family friendly community, and a safe environment on multiple levels. Such a blessing to have this major decision secure, having CCS as an wonderful aid in our primary role to parent our children. Lastly, each of children love going to this school! :)...Read 26 Reviews

Senior: I loved my experience at PJP and it’s been a huge blessing in my life to go there! The opportunities they give their students have impacted my life greatly. I am involved in musical theater, show choir, and band at PJP. In these programs I’ve been able to make so many friendships and I’ve learned so much about the craft that I love. School used to be something I dreaded and once I went to PJP I learned to love school and I really get excited about learning and seeing everyone each day. Pope John Paul’s response to covid was to have us go to school in a hybrid form. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get to go to school safely during these times. Pope John Paul the Second High School has been an amazing experience so far and although I am sad to leave, I am very excited to move onto college and further my studies in music and in therapy...Read 111 Reviews

Alum: I went to VFBA from 1st grade to senior year and just graduated. It’s a small school, but it’s filled with a lot of great people who are a blast getting to know. Parent: Transferring to Montgomery was the best decision we made. After a very short time our child has become much more independent and confident. She loves school! In previous years she never enjoyed science. Now, science is her favorite subject! (the science teacher by the way is incredible!) All teachers are at Monty. Each teacher is unique and fully invested. ...Entering as the “ new kid” mid year did not phase her one bit. The admissions team, faculty, students and family laid out the red carpet for our daughter. The children are kind, polite and inclusive. Montgomery is more than a school, it is a family. Our only regret is that we didn’t enroll years ago. Thrilled we found this gem of a school! Highly- highly recommend...Read 22 Reviews

Sophomore: When I first step in the door at Woodlynde I at the open house I knew this is the place where I should be. My other school but me in lower class then I should been in. Should’ve been in higher class. Woodlynde changed that immediately. My first year I made friends I did the sports I felt very comfortable. With my teachers everything that Woodlynde has done. Is great I would see why not look. At diffident school because what also changed Woodlynde made was that that they help me. With punctuation and my spelling and we have tones of support. Works Here: Bullis is amazing! I am so impressed with the curriculum. Teachers challenge students academically, yet they incorporate a joyful hands-on learning experience. The enriching opportunities are endless in academics, arts, athletics, and service, which provides a well-rounded education and cultivates respect for others, confidence, and the joy of discovery. Faculty, students, and parents are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I grew up in the DC area and assumed a different experience. However, the modern-day folklore that lingers — nothing could be further from the truth! Everyone I've met is genuinely kind, caring, and helpful. I am thrilled to be a part of the Bullis community...Read 109 Reviews
