Senior: The teachers at Badin work hard to prepare students for the life ahead of them, and the school recently expanded to include classes that put an even larger focus on adulthood and life after high school. I've personally had very few experiences where I didn't feel that my teachers weren't working just as hard as they expected their students to work. The staff also takes extensive measures to keep all students safe, and I feel secure whenever I'm there for classes. My only problem would be the struggles I've faced when it comes to handling situations like bullying and mental health issues of the students. Junior: I'm a junior at Ross High School, so I've been here a while now. For the most part, the students at Ross are very friendly and approachable. The students are always respectful to staff and teachers. There's zero tolerance for bullying which is heavily enforced. Ross is located in a small town, so there isn't an overwhelming amount of students. The teachers are extremely kind and extremely accommodating. They are happy to give you the extra help you may need whether it be before, during, or after school. They care a lot about you and your well-being; they're always there if you need to talk or vent. There's a lot of opportunity for college credits too. I've taken two AP courses and three CCP classes so far. There are so many opportunities at Ross which is great for teens trying to figure out what they want to do after they graduate. Senior: My experience at CoIerain High School has been positive academically and socially. I've had great teachers all four years of high school. Senior: The people that make up Northwest are a family. This includes the staff, and the students. No matter what happens, at the end of the day, everyone in that school is always there for each other. Whether it's helping someone carry their lunch because they're on crunches, or whether it's consoling someone after a horrible tragedy happens, the people in Northwest always provide a helping hand to others. Northwest is also very diverse. We have clubs that are geared specifically towards learning about the cultures and customs of others. Niche User: I went to Pleasant Run Middle School from 6th grade to 8th grade. It's the place I met some of my closest friends. I learned so much at that school because I was constantly being pushed to work hard. Every year I took a harder-level math class and was even put into a STEM elective as well as an advanced English elective because my teachers wanted me to be challenged.
