Senior: My experience at the Richland Center High School, had it's ups and downs. As covid took out half of my sophomore year and multiple parts of my junior. The most exciting parts of my high school career were the student sections, and how the school was brought together by spirit. The teachers on the other hand, tried their best but definitely could have been better or improved. I feel as if I didn't receive the greatest education, that I could have been provided. Our advisors and such were very helpful, they truly did want what was best for their students...Read 47 Reviews

Senior: My experience at Ithaca High School started when my mom was pregnant with me. At the time she was teaching eight grade English. I was then frequently present in the school for several family friendly events, or just to visit my mom. Those visits became everyday when I first started school in kindergarten. My relationships with people in the community have grown more and more since then. Our community gives off a full community experience or feeling. Everyone is supported in everything they do. Students are also allowed to be involved in everything they want...Read 24 Reviews

Parent: Both of our kids started at The New School in ninth grade, after eight years of public school. It was one of the best parenting decisions we've ever made. Everything about this school is terrific. The teachers are passionate, inspired, and inspiring. Small, topics-driven, seminar-style classes foster creativity and independent thinking, while the welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel at home. Our two kids turned out to be very different kinds of learners, but both thrived at The New School. Our youngest graduates next year, and we'll be sad to think of not having that day-to-day connection. Can't say enough about this wonderful school!...Read 26 Reviews

Alum: I grew up in Chicago, where few students attend boarding school, so I didn't know what to expect when I traveled across the country for high school. I'm so thankful I took that risk! Chatham Hall was a warm, challenging, exciting environment. It opened up opportunities I never would have had anywhere else. As a student on scholarship, I felt consistently valued and supported. ...After graduation, I came to appreciate the experience even more: I arrived at college far better prepared than almost any of my peers. Through college, a doctorate, and now a STEM career, my Chatham Hall education has remained a touchstone...Most importantly, Chatham Hall feels like home to this day. Not bad for a place that sounded so far from home when I first considered it.Read 44 Reviews
