Senior: My overall experience at Halifax County High School has been very good. I am pursuing an associated degree and advanced diploma. I feel that my teachers have prepared me for college and have taught in a manner that has given me a sufficient amount of knowledge. The guidance department has been very supportive as I search for and prepare scholarships. They have has the necessary material ready for me and in a timely manner. The administrators have also been supportive of the student body. I played basketball for four years and my coach has made sure that we stay academically sound while playing. Our facility is old, needs remodeling or possibly a new school built, but that has not hindered our learning process. I have truly enjoyed my four years at this school and I have made memories that I will cherish for years to come.
