Senior: The school is great! There is something for every student. There are a wide variety of clubs, including Mini-Thon, Mathletes, a theater club, and Science Olympiad, to name a few. There are also plenty of sports teams, including rifle and lacrosse. In a normal year, there are plenty of student council-sponsored activities to enjoy and fun themed days to help students relax. The curriculum is great, offering 4 tracks of study (general, academic, accelerated, and AP). Students can easily mix and match levels, so if you're not the best at math, you can take an academic course, but also stay in a more advanced history class. The teachers are wonderful and put a lot of time and effort into their lesson plans. The diversity and food are not great, but we're a rural PA school. What can you expect? Overall, NP is a great school and I definitely feel prepared for the world ahead of me.

Senior: Overall, my experience at PAHS has been quite positive. Many of my best memories happened in that school or during school events such as at dances, in the pep squad, or cross country. I really came into my own here, having the ability to excel my education by taking AP and honors classes (which they are adding more and more of each year), becoming close with my friend group, and participating in clubs and activities I love. Sure, some teachers are quite lazy or don’t care too much, but I feel like that’s at every public school and the number of good teachers balances it out. Overall, I’ll be very sad to leave at the end of this year, but I’ll have the good memories and education to take with me the rest of my life. Go patriots!
