Senior: I moved here my sophomore year. I had no problem making friends because everyone here is so sweet and inviting. It might be a small little school without a lot of money but its a great school. The classes aren't big so you get more one on one time with the teachers which is really important. The teachers are super nice and like to work with you if you're having troubles. We have lots of sports and clubs available. Our Math team is absolutely amazing. Another big thing is FBLA, FCA, and FFA. Most kids are in either a sport or some kind of club. We are a small enough school everyone knows everyone and we are all like a family. Some big sports are Football, Volleyball, and basketball.

Alum: I went to RCHS for all four years of my high school experience. Olney is a small town, and RCHS is a small school. It is an old building and although the staff does its best to keep the school as nice as possible, it desperately needs updated. With that said, RCHS has some of the best, coolest teachers I've met. Out of all of my teachers throughout high school, there are only two that I remember disliking. The teachers and staff are always willing to help students succeed, and they pour their efforts into their teachings. As a student at RCHS, I felt like my teachers genuinely knew what they were teaching and cared about my success, and I believe that is very important to a high school experience.

Parent: This is a great school with educated and highly qualified teachers and faculty. The level of education I believe compares with other schools throughout the state of Illinois. I also believe that the opportunities given to students within the district are above what other schools could offer.

Red Hill Junior/Senior High School

Senior: Red Hill Jr/Sr High School has done nothing but great things for me. They have provided me with amazing teachers who I feel comfortable discussing certain topics with, dual credit classes to help me get a head-start for college, and an amazing guidance counselor who assisted and helped me to be accepted to the university I plan to attend in the future. His name was Gregg Robbins and he recently passed away and he played an immense role in making Red Hill what it is today, one of the most professional high schools in the area. He will be dearly missed. This school has given me a sense of school pride and a love for it. I am definitely going to miss Red Hill and my fellow Salukis when I graduate. We are Red Hill!
