Parent: Our kids chose to transfer to PCS from public school when they were entering 9th (daughter) and 10th (son) grades. It was truly a life changing experience for our entire family. Not only did our entire family grow in our faith, but our kids received an excellent education that prepared them well for college. Both were accepted into their first choice college with transferrable credits they earned while attending PCS. They were well prepared academically for the rigors of the college classroom and spiritually for the challenges of a more secular environment. This little picturesque school on the hill holds such a special place in our hearts. We'd recommend it to any family looking for a Christian school with a strong academic reputation.... Senior: Lincoln Junior/Senior High School is a wonderful place to go to school. Sure, it might have smaller classes than other schools, but here, everyone knows each other. The teachers here are also full of personality and supportive of their students. The events here are fun, such as our dances (though I wish we could have more!), and there’s a lot of sports and clubs. It’s hard to be bored here! If you ask me, all I could ask for are more events. In my 6 school years having gone to LHS (from 7th-12th grade) I’ve seen a lot go by. I’ve made so many friends over the years, been a part of clubs and sports (I even had positions in some such as Spanish Club), of course the pandemic took us all out of school for a while, so I do feel like I’ve missed a bit of it, but I’m going to miss it all. Senior: My teachers from Lcctc have been phenomenal. they have taught me much more than teachers at my home school. They have unique ways of teaching to make sure their material gets through to you, if one is not grasping it for any reason they go out of their way to make sure they understand it. I've had minimal issues with the teachers and staff here, they take great care of their students when it comes to preparing them for the real world, making sure they're safe and comfortable, and when one is having personal issues not only do they take action but they are empathetic as a teacher and just as a normal human being. The shops are great as well. They are simulated to be as close to the real world work environments as possible. We go through various real life tests and get as prepared as possible for what we would like to do in life. Parent: North Side is no longer K-5th, it's only K-2nd for the entire district. The teachers are wonderful. Curriculum is on point. I'm underwhelmed with the parent involvement and PTO. Also, funding is somewhat low, but they seem to make best use of what they have. They do push a lot of pride of the school and district. Generally the atmosphere is positive.... Read 1 review
