Junior: I really enjoy Pleasant Hill High School. I moved in as a Freshman and it was a good change. Everyone in the community is really nice and accepting which is nice because I did not have that where I came from. I like that they have a bunch of advanced classes to help with college and they have pltw classes so you can already get an idea of what college classes will be like in the field you are going into. A good thing that Pleasant Hill has that I think is beneficial is RCT time also known as Rooster and Chick time. This is time where if you have all your grades at a C or higher you can sit anywhere in the school to eat lunch, get help from teachers on homework, or play in the gym. If you have below a C in a class then the teacher requests you to come in to raise your grade. The only thing that I would recommend changing is when teachers assign videos to watch instead of teaching it in class they should add close caption because most the time you cannot understand what is being said.

Alum: I very much enjoyed my time as a student at Ray-Pec! I felt safe and comfortable in the learning environment and made lots of friends during my high school career. Ray-Pec takes pride in their academics/extracurriculars and holds their students to high standards. They provide a numerous amount of extra curricular activities so every student can find something to be involved in. My favorite memories from my time at Ray-Pec was Friday night football games, school plays, and pep assemblies! The Raymore-Peculiar school district is a rapidly growing school district and a great community to enroll your students in!

Senior: I moved to Harrisonville high school in the middle of my freshman year. The school I used to go to had a bullying issue, and ever since I moved here, everyone has been kind to me. The staff is nice here and everyone gets along well.
There are multiple Science, Math, and English courses to choose from. If you're interested in singing, they have multiple different groups to try out and choose from. I personally enjoy the number of art classes they have.
The atmosphere here is warm and inviting. The students get along with one another and everyone tries their best.
