Sophomore: North Scott High School has something for all students. Whether it is fine arts or athletics, there is a wide variety of things to be involved in. Along with soaring extra-curricular activities, the teachers and overall academics are at a high level, offering multiple AP classes and honors level classes. If they do not have a class you are interested in taking, they either create the class or let you go to the nearby community college to pursue it! The counselor care about all students and work very hard to make sure each student is in a good place at all times. Very nice facilities for all activities. All the kids who go here are inclusive and care for one another. The only thing that this school lacks is diversity. This is a school made up of many high-class white families. Overall, North Scott is a wonderful place, and the slight issues can always be fixed!

Senior: My school is like a family, everyone is so close and caring. I am so dedicated to my schooling but also go to as many events as I can to support my school. Our teachers are parents to those whose parents aren't in their lives. My school is one of a kind.

Alum: The best part about Calamus Wheatland High School are the faculty and instructors. They care about you and they want you to succeed. They do an excellent job of preparing you for post-secondary education by providing access and showing you online resources. Technology is also plays a major role in education at this school. Every student in 7-12 building has access to a school Macbook. This rids the use of scheduling conflicts of computer labs. Sports and extracurricular activities are also a good way to get connected with other students. Extracurricular activities include speech, band, theatre, and choir. Classroom sizes are small which allows teachers to give each student more attention and help. Overall, my experience here has been nothing but positive and I encourage any family moving into this area to enroll their student at the Calamus Wheatland High School.
