Junior: What I like the most about Pulaski Academy is the level of education that you receive during a person's time here. The curriculum is high level, as well as the classes. I also like the variety of classes that one can take. For example, there are a large number of art classes at the school, but if you are not into that, there are plenty of other classes such as varieties of math, computer science, and science. The community at Pulaski Academy is also great too, as the school's goal is to act as one big family. However, there are some downsides to going to this school. To start, some social aspects can be hard when you are with other people not from your school, as Pulaski Academy has a reputation of being a rich school for primarily white students, which does not sit well in today's society. Overall, students that attend here tend to be disrespected due to the school they go to. Overall though, the school provides a great education system that will help me succeed further in my life.... Middle school student: First off, I want to say that Little Rock Christian Academy is an amazing school. It starts with the preschool and ends after senior year. I love LRCA because there is such a connection that is made between students and so many new friendships once you join. You learn so much at this school and are definitely prepared for college when finished. Everyone cares for each other and is there for one another—teachers included—and I, for one, feel very welcomed and loved when I walk through those entry doors. So if LRCA isn’t the school for you, then you’re certainly missing out on a great opportunity for an awesome school. Senior: I am a senior in high school who has been going to Lisa Academy since I was in elementary school. I've seen this school change in so many ways, mostly for the better! There isn't much extracurricular wise, if that bothers you then you probably wouldn't like it here. However, the college prep is insane. I feel much more prepared than my non-Lisa peers. If you're looking for a school that is hyperfocused on the future of its students, then this school is the perfect fit for you. Junior: Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock is an incredible school in terms of academics, faculty, and student body. Being a college preparatory school, each of the classes is designed to get you ready for college, whether you take regular, honors, or AP. There are also plenty of fun and engaging clubs to join. The faculty at MSM are incredibly caring and attentive with the students in a way that creates good connections. The way they design the classes makes for an active learning environment. The student body is incredibly close and accepting. As an all girl's school, the term sisterhood correctly describes the Mount, with students forming relationships with fellow students very easily. Everyone cares about one another, so the student body is an incredible support system. One of the only problems is a lack of diversity, however, there are many clubs and student associations that allow for students of minority groups to connect and raise awareness of any social issues that may exist.... Senior: I have had a great experience at Catholic High. There are lots of resources and opportunities to be challenged with and excel academically with, so I feel well prepared for college. There is a real sense of community with your classmates, and you have a bond with anyone who has ever been there because of the many experiences and traditions you will share. My favorite part about Catholic is the teachers, most of them at least. Senior: At school, I found friendships that will last a lifetime. The school gave me good college training and trained me how to take on a large workload. Baptist Prep's desire is for all students to become successful later in life and while in school. All my teachers go above and beyond to help me with school. Senior: At eStem, I enjoyed the company of my classmates and faculty. The people there make you feel like you are a family and are apart of something big! I had a lot of fun in and out of the classroom because everyone tries to encourage you to do your best. It is so easy to be involved within the school because there is a variety of sports, clubs, and activities you can be in. I had wonderful teachers who pushed me to work harder and helped me when I was confused. Alum: LISA Academy overall held many of the best moments of my life. I enrolled there in my 4th grade year and just recently graduated. The teachers love what they do and genuinely hold the students' best interest in mind. However, schools are never perfect. With all things, there is room for improvement like appropriate ways for administration to notify teachers of their duties. Many times, my teachers will vent their frustrations about how they suddenly have extra work or their position changed. Now they are the chair of their respected department (which is good) but they have to teach and do the duties of being a Chair. Our school is small, and on a positive side that means it feels more like a community and less like a place where we legally have to be. Overall, I would totally recommend parents and guardians to send their students there. Sophomore: Great school with wonderful teacher and determined students who appreciate their learning environment. This school offers offers CTE classes which are career and technical education. Middle School Student: Their academics are outstanding, perfect for college readiness! They do a very good job, engaging with students and making sure everyone has a chance to learn. Diversity is also a big thing here. The teachers are nice and welcoming. They have a big majority of different clubs. Food... not so good, like any other public school really, but that's fine you can bring your own lunch. Senior: My first time ever going into High school was in my ninth grade year. All my life before then, I had been home schooled. It was a tough transition, but when I was finally able to adjust to the cultural, I loved it! I love how all faculty and staff are so supportive and will help any student with a drop of a hat. I have a counselor who is so helpful, she helps me apply and prepare for college. I love how much the cultural is focused on Christ as we are all unified as one school and family. It was so easy to get involved at Southwest. I am in Student council, Worship team, competition choir, Softball captain and a teachers aid. I'm thankful for my school. It's not just a school to me, it's a family and I'm thankful for that. It's been amazing to join Southwest Christian academy. This Christian school teaches your child everything they need to know. Plus, they have a great sports program. Volleyball for girls and basketball for boys.
