Senior: In my years throughout Elementary and High School I have had wonderful experiences especially feeling like the school is quite a big family. We have gotten new teachers fresh out of college the past couple of years but they are filled with new information and different teaching methods to be taught when they were in college. The average class size is 15-20 students and varies depending on the courses you take. Our shop, agriculture, and special education programs. The teachers have the ability to have a one to one where you can get to know them and they get to know you. We have free college programs for anyone to take unless you fail the course. We enter in many competitions that beneficial to students for college as well. Since we are a small school combining the elementary and high school everybody knows everybody and there is a friend for everyone. If i were to change anything it would be to add a better disciplinary program for the school.

Senior: I enjoy the sense of community that you feel in the Bloomer School District. The high school has around 400 students, so it's relatively small, but that's what brings us closer to each other. Everyone knows everyone's names and it's easy to connect with the teachers. Bloomer is also very into sports and the community rallies around the teams and helps support. Some things I would like to change about Bloomer is the course rigor. It's not very difficult to succeed in Bloomer. There are classes you can take to challenge yourself, but not many choose to do that. The study habits they teach us don't necessarily prepare us for college. Bloomer all around, though, is a good school district to grow up in.

Middle School Student: I love going to bloomer middle school. Sure the teachers are a little strict (except for the social studies teacher). And there is the fact that there is no advance classes unlike the Elementary which is sad because I get really bored in every class. One reason the middle school is fun is because of the freedom. There is late starts on Tuesdays and Thursdays where you take turns going to the gym, playground, and cafeteria. Then there is blackhawk bucks which is a currency so every Friday you can buy something from the store which has candy, Bluetooth speakers, and other cool stuff. How you get Blackhawk bucks is you win them, trade for them, and you don’t have any punches on your punch card. A punch card is a card that has 5 holes you take a hole puncher and punch. You get a punch by not listening
, hurting someone, and threatening people. If you get 5 punches then the school calls your parents. Also, you get a new punch card every week. That is why I love Bloomer Middle school.
