Franklin Community High School

Junior: Franklin teachers care about thier students. 9/10 teachers are top of the line, but there will be a few that fall short of incredible. Teachers here want to make a difference. Franklin offers many clubs and athletic opportunities. Although our football team is not the greatest, there are so many more things to be proud of; Choir State Champions, Swimming State Champions, Wildlife Team National Champions, and more! Franklin has increased their safety protocols to make the students feel safe. There are 15+ clubs to join. The school was built several years ago so it is fairly new. It may seem ginormous on the outside, but it feels a lot smaller on the inside and is easy to navigate.

Alum: What I love about Edinburgh is also somehow the thing I wish would change. I love the small town niche of Edinburgh’s school. Everyone has known everyone since practically elementary school. It makes us all one big, loving family. The downside to this, however, is that I feel like this limits our abilities to branch out. We don’t have many opportunities to network and meet new people. Still, I believe the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Sophomore: I love going to school at Indian Creek! I have gone here my whole life and recently I have discovered something about my school that makes me love it more. We have an excellent special ed/essential skills program. Recently there have been multiple students moving to our school from other areas just for this program. I am in the essential skills room everyday and I can see the future of the children and it’s going to be successful.
