Parent: Moravian Academy has been a superb choice for my son. I chose them for their academic reputation. Since then, however, I come to realize how much more there is to Moravian. The smaller classes allow a personal relationship between teachers and students. Moravian is committed to the Arts, Music, Languages, and other non-academic opportunities that allow students to explore and find passions they didn't even know they had. Field trips in the younger grades are meaningful. The overnight team building trips in high school are exceptional in strengthening the sense of community. The faculty is truly committed to the students. Students can excel academically, do research based projects, have STEM opportunities, compete nationally, do sports, etc. Moravian teaches them to be independent learners, self advocates, and to balance academics, extracurricular, and personal goals. Senior: Nazareth Area High School is a school full of spirit! Everyone supports everyone and you can see students cheering on various teams in the school. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and there are always fun activities to join in on. The teachers and staff are amazing and are helpful for many things that don't only involve academics. Nazareth prepares you for life outside of high school. There are so many clubs and activities to participate in that you could have a full plate and still have fun! Senior: Currently I am a senior at Bethlehem Catholic High School. Throughout my last 4 years it has been a somewhat roller coaster, since the pandemic hit during my sophomore year and disrupted half of my high school experience. However, even through the hardships, Bethlehem Catholic was able to adjust and provide all the necessary help for each of its students. Whether it was providing internet, textbooks, extra tutoring sessions, and chrome books. Senior: Overall Lehigh Valley Academy is a great school if you are deciding to go to an international school or examine for IB credits. If you are looking for a regular high school diploma, this school is not for you. The curriculum is very intense and there are many requirements in order to obtain your IB credits. The school is small compared to local high schools but there is still school spirit and fun activities that student council creates. The biggest asset to the sports at LVA is their Step Team, they have had the opportunity to win first place at the State competition and go to nationals! There is dress code at the school. There is a lot of pressure on the juniors and seniors due to the Diploma Programme, they also offer a Career Programme for students who are more interested in engineering or biomedical. Parent: Prior to selecting ND, we did many months of research and going onto our 6th year, could not be happier. We have two children that attend the school, both on different levels and both have grown academically as well as socially. If we have had any concerns either the teachers and/or the Principal addressed them in a timely manner. With the new gym, even more is possible. No school is perfect but everyone truly tries.... Middle School Student: ICS is a great welcoming school to all. It feels almost like a second home. The avarice are great! However the sports are lacking. There is a girls basketball team, a girls volleyball team, a track and field team, and a cross country team. Thisay seem like a lot but it's really not. There are 4 selections for girls but only 2 for boys. Other than the poor sport selection the school is pretty good with nice teachers and an overall great experience for all students.... Sophomore: The main campus is beautiful with old buildings that stretch up the wooded mountain. The academics are pretty good with decent teachers who care about their students. The food isn’t very good but there are some decent off campus options. Greek life is pretty prominent but you can easily get by not being in a frat or sorority. There are many fun clubs that are their own tight nit communities. I would call it a party school as there are many parties every weekend weather hosted by frats or clubs.
