Senior: The education was amazing, and the teachers really care about each student's individual progress. There are so many opportunities to explore what you're interested in! Our electives are in-depth and curiosity-nourishing, and are taught by very qualified teachers who are clearly passionate about what they do. There are a million clubs (and ways to create your own club), plenty of sports, and an overall abundance of ways to make lifelong friends. Independent and self-driven students can really thrive here. The only thing I was not a fan of was the college counseling experience around financial aid specifically. Junior: North Creek High School is an excellent school! My experience with North Creek High has been great with many events and awesome clubs. There are events like Homecoming, the Spring Fling, and our yearly Jag Day, where we set up games and celebrate school spirit. The clubs are diverse, from DECA, HOSA, and even Book Club, you can join any club! It's a good way to make new friends and to find out what you like. You can even start your club! The sports are great as well. The football games are perfect to show off school spirit and cheer on our team. North Creek has a beautiful campus, with great classes and teachers. The staff is helpful, and if you have any problems, there is always someone to help. My two favorite places are the Library, which has 2 levels, and a great selection of books, and the Commons, where Nutrition Break and our Lunches take place. Alum: The thing I relished the most about this school was the loving community. Back in public school I dreaded attending each day. I strongly felt like nobody cared about me. But when I transferred to this private Christian school it was like a whole new world! Right from the start everyone was so welcoming and nice. It was something special to attend class and be taught by teachers who you could clearly tell cared about their students. Subjects that I used to find difficult were made easier thanks to those very teachers. I was also able to overcome a lot of the anxiety I'd developed back in public school thanks to the kindness I was met with. I surprised myself by participating in theater, various clubs, and tons of other activities that I in any other setting would never have taken part in. I can confidently say that the only reason why I'm a Christian today is because that school not only taught me about the love of God but made me FEEL it too. Senior: My time at Archbishop Murphy High School was absolutely amazing! I met some of the best teachers and administrators here. When I first stepped onto AMHS's campus, I felt like I was home. The environment is very welcoming; you will never feel like an outsider. Class sizes are small and perfect. The resources I had at my hands were great. If I did not have the Academic Resource Center, I would have felt lost. They truly helped me feel more confident in myself that I could achieve my goals. Parent: Shoreline Christian is a fabulous school! My son started at SCS in kindergarten. I wasn't totally sure about private school when we started, but now that he is there, I can't imagine him anywhere else. He is on the autism spectrum, and the teachers and staff have been so caring and encouraging of him. They take the time to do what is needed to provide support in the areas that are challenging for him, but they always see him from the viewpoint of recognizing and nurturing his strengths. The smaller class sizes make it possible for teachers to really individualize their teaching to meet each kid where they are, whether needing extra support or extra challenge. The parent community is hard-working, kind, and honestly accepting--I feel like we care about one another's kids and their well-being as we care about our own. Senior: Cedar Park is an amazing school with outstanding faculty who are interested in knowing you outside of academics and will do everything in their power to help you succeed and keep the tuition affordable even if it means taking a pay cut themselves. Many teachers host free tutorials in their classrooms before and after school hours. The school is also very accommodating to people with disabilities and learning challenges. However, the school simply does not receive any financial aid from the state due to being a christian institution and can only provide so much in the way of equipment that is not provided by someone outside of the school. On another note the school did an excellent job when it came to dealing with the recent pandemic, they were able to keep infections down while having kids in classrooms.... Read 44 reviews

Parent: Our family has been thoroughly impressed with Providence. We have seen our children's confidence and character grow steadily in a wonderful direction as they have progressed at the school from kindergarten on. We currently have three boys at the school, with the oldest being a 7th grader, and I'm blown away by what they know and can explain at their age compared to the education I received in public school (which may not be saying much)! Combining the excellent and rigorous scholastic education with Christian character building is a recipe for success. I'd recommend that anyone interested in Providence assess it against a different rubric. It's not going to provide some big school amenities or feel like a bustling campus. Parent: My daughter is flourishing at Chrysalis. Every class is tailored to meet her needs and engage her curiosity and learning. She is more confident and happier than ever before and really feeling comfortable in her own skin. She owns her intelligence now instead of hiding it to fit in. The academics are incredible. She has been able to study more subjects and take classes at a much higher level than she was able to at public school. I love how the school cares for the overall wellness of each individual student and puts the student first in each situation. The teachers are from all different backgrounds and have amazing stories to share. Junior: Mariner High School has provided me with memories and knowledge that I will cherish. Despite struggling with safety, extracurricular involvement (particularly in athletics and the arts), funding, and the academic ability of a part of the student body, the staff at Mariner always have a student's well-being and improvement as their priority. The students are friendly, humorous, and diligent in their work. Mariner is a school whose staff and students are diverse in ethnic background, religion, and interests, creating a large, accepting community on campus. I enjoy being a part of this family and participating in its activities, and I always try to help improve Mariner through involvement in athletics, orchestra, and leadership roles. Parent: Academy Northwest was a fabulous choice for our two daughters. We homeschooled our children but once they reached high school, we really wanted the accredited transcripts for them. ANW's Home Education Extension program allowed us the flexibility we wanted in curriculum selection, afforded us the opportunity to take classes taught by professionally certified teachers, and provided us with that Washington state approved diploma we wanted! Parent: We choose St Mark because it's important to both my husband and I that our kids attend a school that has high academic standards and be part of an environment that helps teach our children to respect, have discipline, and is both inclusive and diverse. We couldn't be more pleased with St Mark. We have 3 children that attended/attend there. I will start with my eldest who now attends Holy Names Academy. St Marks prepared her in a way we couldn't even imagine. She constantly gets complimented for her study habits, her kindness, and her eagerness. Yes, a lot of that starts at home however we can 100% confidently say they had a lot to do with that. She is getting straight A's at HNA because of their help. Next our son we were a little worried about him "being behind" because he learns different however this school has made him truly blossom. Why? They have the ability to do so because of class size. Parent: I am an alumni of St Mary Magdalen and had an amazing experience. The friends I met there are friends for a lifetime. It is a excellent community and values integrity, respect, individuality, service and honesty. It gave me a strong foundation for my continued Catholic education. It was really important to me our kids went there and now in 4th and 6th grade have had the same experience I had.
