Alum: The really felt the proper "step up" when I transitioned from elementary school to middle school (Beck). I mean this in the way that the course work and material was of greater rigor, intensity, and demand, while still providing quality methods of teaching. The environment felt independent, like being a bit more "on your own", in a sense, derived from the switching between classes and knowing where you had to be when you had to be. Naturally, I've had a few classes with teachers that weren't to my preference of style, but more importantly I've had many great classes because of the great teachers. The facilities are second-rate (e.g. the bathrooms have beaten down stall doors and writing all over, the chrome of the sinks is dingy and the sinks leak, etc.). But overall, this is a well-rounded environment to be a part of, and I am glad to have went here.... Read 4 reviews
