Senior: I really like how there’s a bunch of opportunities there for a very diverse group of students. The school spirit isn’t the greatest, but that could definitely easily change by making students more involved with the community. The teachers are pretty good for the most part and they are very understanding. Academics are taken very seriously at Marlboro High School and it gives a good push for students to try their hardest. Personally, I’ve seen some of my classmates change their behavior for the better due to the influence of teachers and I think that’s very motivating. Although the school isn’t super diverse, there’s a bunch of opportunities for every student through the plethora of clubs MHS has. During my time studying at Marlboro High School, before COVID, I had a very positive experience and I managed to balance a pretty solid social life since many people are friendly. I met some of my best friends there and we all influence each other to do our best in that school.

Alum: I graduated MMMS in 2014. This middle school was harder than high school ( I went to Howell HS ). Definitely prepared me for college and high school. Although I had some issues with math placement (too smart for average math, too dumb for high math), the reading, history, and science classes were on par with high school level. Definitely paid off on my SATs and college apps. Marlboro is a pretty crap area when it comes to social equity, and rich kids were always better off than the poor kids socially and academically, but we all got the same education, and it opened up a lot of doors.

Alum: Teachers are willing to help with your academics, personal issues, etc.
Liked how some students have two different LAL teachers (reading and writing) to get extra attention on certain area rather than having one LAL on both. Enjoyed spending those three years in middle school with various teachers and fun activities we had to do for each class.
