Parent: An excellent Christian private school. For a small school, it offers an amazing diversity of challenging academics/APs for college prep but also student support. The motto is that students come first, and every student is known and loved. The administration aims to support struggling students, & that academic and mental health support been especially important at this time. At the very start of the pandemic, while other schools were scrambling to transition to virtual learning or independent study projects, PacBay seamlessly moved learning online over the course of a weekend. The administration did a great job researching and planning. Students attended classes on campus one day, and smoothly transitioned online the next week to minimize learning loss. As restrictions loosened, and vaccinations rose, the school's done a wonderful job re-opening the campus safely. Senior: With all my four years at Westmoor, I feel as though it's better than the other schools in the Jefferson Union District, due to the high level of diversity and safety. Westmoor is located at Daly City and while it is not the best funded school, I would say that it's not shy of being the better school of all the five compared. There are so many great club and volunteer opportunities at Westmoor, that it's only a matter of looking around and reaching out. However, it should definitely be brought up that while Westmoor is a safe school, it doesn't guaranteed absolute safeness. Parent: Our family has been active Sea Crest community members for a few years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the community, support, and programs the school provides. My children look forward to going to school every day and are thriving! The administration, teachers, and staff are knowledgable and warm-hearted. This school has become a perfect second home to our children. We are grateful to the community for the inviting and welcoming spirit, and the rich learning our children are experiencing. The Head of School is welcoming and determined to make Sea Crest the best it can be. She is invested in the school's community and has made monumental positive changes for the betterment of the students. Parent: My daughter grow up in OLM from K to 8 and she is graduating this summer. She learn, play with lots of good friends, they have the largest group of kids, Class of 2020! Parent: Our son loves Stratford! I am constantly amazed at how much he has learned and how much he loves going to school every day. We like the strong academic focus of the school and that was primarily why we chose Stratford. However, we also like that they still provide music, art and twice-yearly music/drama programs that allow the kids to explore their artistic sides. The community at Stratford is also wonderful. My son has made lots of new friends in school that have extended to family friendships outside school hours and events. We now frequently gather for holiday and weekend get togethers which is great for our son as he is an only child. Lastly, I love the “Stratford Pledge” the students say every morning that talks about being “kids of character”. Our son continues to develop a strong sense of self-responsibility and pride in his work, and I know that a lot of that can be attributed to Stratford and the wonderful staff of teachers and administration.... Parent: Excellent community of families and staff. Science and Technology are strong areas of curriculum. Teachers willing to help and assist students when they have questions. Good Shepherd School is located on the coast with beautiful weather and views. CYO offers girls volleyball, boys basketball and girls basketball throughout the school year. Parent: Our two boys age 10 and 13 have gone to this school since Pre-K and we love the strong academics and strong cultural community provided here. Although primarily Armenian, the school is very welcoming to diversity. While strong academically, there is no sports program. Students are encouraged to participate in many clubs and after school activities like computer coding, Spanish language, arts and chess.
